Before I knew if Mark was standing right in front of me screaming in my face about me not answering his messages. I turned to see Harry running over towards us. I could feel the blood rush out of my face as Harry came between me and Mark pushing me behind his back.

"Um. Is there a problem here?" Harry growled through gritted teeth looking down at Mark. I could feel myself starting to shake and I gripped the back of Harry's shirt tightly as Mark looked up at Harry then back over at me.

"Excuse me? Since when were you in control of my girl?" Mark questioned towards Harry but looking at me.

"Your girl?" Harry replied turning to look at me with his eye brows furrowed in the middle of his forehead.

"Mark did you forget you broke up with me?" I calmly responded quickly. My hands were tangled into Harry's blazer now and my palms were sweaty. Mark ran his fingers through his short black hair in annoyance. Harry nodded slowly in my response to my comment.

"You better get going now before you really start to piss me off" Harry snarled. He took my hand out of his blazer and embraced my small hand into his larger one. I accepted the offer and walked behind Harry to the next hole. I turned to look back to see Mark following behind me.

"Mark that meant go away," I pipped up at him. Mark grabbed my arm pulling me causing me to be ripped out of Harry firm grip on my hand. I went to push Mark away from the chest but instead I felt a hot burning sensation hit my right cheek.

Mark had punched me and I was now on the ground. I looked up through blurry vision to see Harry plow over Mark and started plastering punches to his prominent cheek bones. There was horror in Harry's eyes but my vision soon went blank and all I heard was Harry's soothing voice screaming at Mark "How do like being punched in the face?"

*Three Hours Later*

I woke up in a hospital bed with my hand wrapped in someone elses. I opened my eyes to a beaten up Harry with stitches on his lower lip.

"Hey Love your awake!" Harry whispered placing his other hand ontop of our already braided together hands. I seemed to forget how melodious his voice was to my ears. I smiled at him to tired to talk.

"How are you feeling Aubree?" A doctor questioned peeking his head through the closed curtain.

"I am doing good. But can someone tell me why I am here?" I groggily asked looking down at my bruised wrist. "Was is the car accident?" I then mumbled looking at Harry. He shook his head.

"No you- um..fell when I was talking you home last night and hit your head. on the steps to your house." Harry replied. I nodded, and didn't question the single bruise and stitched up lip. I raised my hand to my bruised cheek bone leading into my eye socket.

"How bad is it?" I asked Harry.

"Not to bad. I wouldn't worry about it love." Harry smiled. I returned the smile at him and realized the bruise on my collar bone was now gone and I was happy about that. I could hear a familiar voice yelling on the other side of the curtain. I wasn't able to place the voice to a face but I knew that voice anywhere.

Harry's grip loosened and he stood up and popped his head out of the curtains blocking my view of outside. I could hear a groan deep in Harry's chest.

"I'll be right back Aubree," Harry calmly stated while walking out of the curtains accidentally leaving them a tad open. I could hear Harry's angry whispers and the nurse at the front desk trying to calm him down.

I then saw Marks face appear standing next to Harry. I started to panic when I realised that Mark was here for one reason. He turned and looked through the tiny opening in my curtain. I saw Harry grab his arm before he could come any closer to the curtain. Harry yelled down at him profanities. I saw two more people ape behind Mark and then security behind Harry.

The memories came rushing back into my head like a mudslide of emotions.

Mark punched me. I fell to the floor. Harry attacked Mark. And now I am in the hospital. Great just great.

Security escorted the three men out of the hospital and I knew something was up with Harry. He seemed tense when he came back into the room. He took my hand in his and looked me deep in the eyes.

"I will always be here to protect you. You know that. I just need more help protecting you from Marks entire gang."
