I'm just gonna take a bit of your time to introduce the characters. This is a description of the characters:

Charles (Charlie) (Protagonist)
Age: 15

Birthday: December 18

Looks: Very short curly dark brown hair, tan skin, hazel eyes,
freckles scattered across his face, skinny, smallish build.

Height: 5'6

Ethnicity: Half Dominican, Half French

Personality: Charlie is incredibly smart but naïve. He's a very anxious kid and is mostly introverted but likes to talk. He can be ignorant when he's angry, tends to interrupt people, is overly conscious, and feels wired in situations of stress but he's overall a kind and sweet person.

More: Teddy's best friend, close friends with Danny, Ruby, and Willow. Enjoys puzzles, math, doing makeup, riding his bike, skating (pretty much all forms of it, rollerskating, ice skating, skateboarding), coffee, and listening to music. Loves bugs and reptiles. Has a slight speech impediment, and struggles with i's, s's, and y's. His favorite food is sushi and his favorite color is green.

Theodore (Theo/Teddy) (Confidant)

Age: 15

Birthday: October 12

Looks: Short slightly curly light brown hair, pale skin, green eyes, has a few freckles on his nose, thin, a bit more muscular than Charlie

Height: 5'7

Ethnicity: Italian

Personality: Teddy tends to be a daredevil, isn't much of a stickler for the rules, and hates being bossed around. He likes to take charge but can tell when to pass over the authority. He's a very rebellious boy, refusing to follow orders, and will always go for an adventure instead of sitting at home with his chemistry homework. He might not want to go on a study date but ask him to take you on a dangerous walk in the woods at night and he won't be able to say no. Theo is quite the outspoken person and is not afraid to speak his mind. He'll let you know his take on things no matter the time and whether or not you asked for it. He's a massive gossip and loves to fill his friends in on the latest news. His impulsiveness can make him come off dumb as a rock but he can be incredibly intelligent when he wants to be! It just seems he never wants to... he'd probably have been diagnosed with ADHD if he were in the present day considering how reckless he is. He always tries to put his toughest foot forward but is a softie at heart.

Enjoys riding his bike, going to the arcade (mostly to play Galaga), playing piano, going on adventures (especially with his closest friends.), sleeping, and his guilty pleasure, anime. He's practically obsessed with all animals, especially birds. He struggles with spelling and often relies on Charlie to help him with his grammar and spelling on schoolwork. He loves spaghetti and his favorite color is yellow.

Daniel (Danny) (Confidant)

Age: 14

Birthday: March 28

Looks: Short wavy black hair, slightly tan skin, blue eyes, thin, somewhat muscular, a tiny bit taller than Teddy

Height: 5'7

Ethnicity: Chinese and German

Personality: Daniel is a very angry person and is easily aggravated. You really have to be careful about what you say around him because you might not only touch a nerve, you could repeatedly poke, prod, and stab a nerve. This hotheaded boy might piss you off more than your deadbeat dad or, he'll fascinate you with his wit. Danny can and will charm his way out of trouble and with Teddy in their group, he's a valuable asset. He's practically a brother to Charlie and will not hesitate to intimidate anyone who looks at him the wrong way to the point of shitting their pants. While he is the pissiest member of the party, he loves his friends more than anything and will go to any lengths to protect his loved ones. He is aware that he can be an asshole and tries not to be but being nice is just so hard! He's assumed the role of the father of the group and pretends to hate it but really, he'd be terrified if any of the others had even tried to take care of everyone the way he does.

Daniel is smitten with reptiles which is something he and Charlie love bonding over. He helps the group with their homework especially when Charlie isn't around. He's always the one to come to the party's aid when one of them gets hurt and while he doesn't like to admit it, he's the one that'll kiss everyone's boo-boos to make them better. Danny likes to eat chicken alfredo and loves turquoise.

Ruby (Confidant)

Age: 15

Birthday: November 9

Looks: Wavy strawberry blonde hair, brown eyes, pale skin, a shit ton of freckles, skinny

Height: 5'5

Ethnicity: Scottish

Personality: Ruby is an incredibly shy girl. She despises everything social and will refuse any upcoming event if none of her friends are there. But, while she has no grasp of social cues, she's extremely kind and will go out of her way to fix things for her friends if they're caught in a bind. Just like all her friends, she's very wise beyond her years and doesn't let rumors get to her. She can be a bit biased when it comes to arguments and she might get caught up in the moment causing her to say things she doesn't mean due to her impulsivity but she really does love her friends. She's rarely ever rude unless the other person strikes first and truly believes first impressions are everything. She's the one who's always prepared and is constantly bringing first aid kits to the group's adventures. You'll almost never see her without Daniel by her side, mostly because of their similar roles in the party but she does great when he's not there.

More: Best friends with Danny and Willow, close friends with Teddy and Charlie. Enjoys going out with friends, literature, drawing, biology, riding her bike, and rollerskating. Ruby has a deep attachment to cats, especially her pet cat Arlo. She taught Danny everything he knows about biology and will take care of everyone when Daniel isn't around. When he is, she helps him (because lord knows he needs it) with basically everything. Her house is normally where they all go for sleepovers and snacks. Ruby enjoys sancocho made by Charlie's mother and her favorite color is orange.

Willow (Confidant)

Age: 14

Birthday: April 29

Looks: Curly black hair, brown eyes, dark skin, a few freckles across her cheeks, thin

Ethnicity: Ethiopian

Personality: Willow is extremely childish and when told to "act her age" she'll promptly blow a raspberry and walk away. She's said to have the most humor in the group and tends to be careless. She often doesn't really care about getting into trouble or her grades, she just wants to make sure she's enjoying life while she still can. She's very outgoing but tends to stumble over her words. Her energy seems to be endless and is in a constant state of "I want to run a marathon" but not having the motivation to do it and not being able to because her parents would scold her about how "unsafe" it is for her due to her asthma. However, she isn't just happy-go-lucky all the time and actually suffers from frequent mood swings although her father says it's just puberty.

Her talkativeness causes her to speak really fast and seems to completely obsess over things she enjoys until she drops it and finds a new hyperfixation. Willow loves Ruby's pet cat, Arlo, a 3 year old Siamese who accompanies them on their journeys in Ruby's backpack. She also likes dogs. She likes to make the group snacks and always sneaks them in Ruby's bag before they head out. She likes burritos and her favorite colors are purple and yellow.
