Anthony was laying around in bed bored out of his mind. He didn't have anything planned and he didn't have to worry about work today.

Beside him his phone lit up and vibrated. His hand reached out and grabbed his phone.

Jocelyn: Got a new roomie and we're throwing a party later! Come by and see me ;)

Jocelyn was a fun girl to be around but sometimes she could go on and on about something. All he had to do was kiss her and that would shut her up.

He sent her a quick text saying that he would be there along with another one asking if the new roomie was hot.

Jocelyn: Ha ha! That's funny Ladao!

A second later his phone went of again. Jocelyn: Yeah, she's cute but tonight your mine so don't think about getting with her

If she wanted him then he would let her do whatever she wanted. Just thinking about her going down on him was getting him hard.

He grabbed a towel off his floor and hopped in the shower. Tonight would be just what he needed.

Fate really must've had it in for her. She stood there with her mouth gaping open and somehow she managed to regain her composure and snap it shut. "If you'll excuse me..."

She stepped around Logan and went straight to her bedroom. Grace shut the door behind her. Her body slid down the length of the door. As she pulled her knees to her chest someone knocked on her door.

"Hey, let me in," the voice asked.

Grace blew out the breath she was holding. Good, it wasn't him. He was the last person she wanted to be near. She got up and opened the door to find Jocelyn with a worried expression on her face. "Are you okay?"

"Not really."

"What happened? It looked like you saw death or something."

"Well I actually did see someone I hoped I never would see."

"Someone who's at the party?"

Grace nodded.

"Who?"

"The guy you are with. I know him."

"Anthony?"

She nodded again.

"How do you know him?"

"It doesn't matter. I don't want to ruin your relationship with him."

"Woah, I'm not dating him if that's what you think."

"But you were all over him-"

"He doesn't date. Anthony has a lot of friends with benefits..."

"Oh."

"Yeah," she laughed. "So however you know him you don't have to worry about me. Personally, I'm a no strings attached kind of girl so having a fling with someone who feels the same works."

"Well that's good to know I guess."

"Look, however you know him is your business and I'm not going to pry but if you want to spill eventually then I'll listen. Do you want me to ask him to leave?"

"No, it's fine. I've gotta face my ex eventually right?"

"Holy shit, he's your ex?"

"Yeah, things didn't end on a good note. He basically moved away and left me."

"Oh my gosh! Your the one that got away!"

"I'm what?"

Someone else knocked on the door. But rather than waiting for the door to open they walked right in.

"Everything okay?" It was Becca.

"Yeah," she lied. "I just needed to clear my head, that's all."

"Okay, well Anthony wants to come in so I'm going to leave now and he's going to come in."

He stepped in and Jocelyn bit her lip. "Well shit this is awkward so I'm going to leave."

Grace was alone to face Anthony. All she wanted to do was to turn and run but he was blocking the door and even if she did leave she has nowhere to go.

"You should leave," she told him. "I don't want to see you."

"Will you hear me out?"

"No, I won't."

"Why not?"

"Because you made my life hell after you left, that's why."

"Please Grace, just talk to me."

She turned her back to him. "Leave."

He didn't say anything next but she didn't hear him open the door so he wasn't planning on leaving."

"I've missed you," he told her.

"Good for you," she spat.

He put his hand on her shoulder and she shrugged it off. "Will you please just leave me alone?!"

"Why won't you talk to me?" he danced an answer from her.

She spun sound with her hands clenched in fists at her side. "You want to know why I don't want to see you? You want to know why I don't want to talk to you or be around you?"

"If that means you'll talk to me then yes, tell me."

"You left me. I thought we would have a future together and you decided to move and leave me."

"I wanted you to come with me so we could start a life tougher."

"I couldn't do that and leave my family and you knew that Anthony. You knew I had to be at home for my sister."

"Being around your family made you depressed and stressed out and I thought you needed to get away."

"Of course being around them would make me depressed and stressed out! My sister had cancer! Did you honestly expect me to pack a bag and leave?"

"I thought I could help."

"By taking me away from the people that needed me the most? And you know what I needed them too but I needed you Anthony. I needed you to be there for me and you weren't."

"How could you still be mad at me? I'm sorry that I wasn't there but she beat the cancer Grace. I know she did because's she's a fighter."

"It came back." Her voice was so low it was almost a whisper. "It came back and she didn't make it."
