Self-introduction/자기소개

I think it is necessary to start this book with a self-introduction, 저기소개 in Korean.
I will first do a short introduction in Korean and then after that I will do a long one in English.

안녕하세요!
제 이름이 레아입니다. 저는 대학생은 이고 21 살입니다. 독일 사람입니다. 저는 지금 대학에서 한국학과 영어학을 전공합니다. 한국 말하고 싶고 한국 역사 아주 좋아하기 때문에 한국학을 전공합니다. 제 취미는 책 읽는 것과 한국 드라마를 보는 것과 한국 음악을 듣는 것입니다. 그라고 시간이 있을 때 저는 밖에 가고 그것은 책을 읽고 산책햅니다. 내년에 나는 한국어를 공부하기 위해 1년 동안 한국에 갈 것입니다. 저는 한국어를 열심히 공부할 겁니다!
여러분들을 만나서 반갑습니다!

Good morning, midday, afternoon, evening, night everyone!
My name is Lea and I am a 21 years old student from Germany. I am currently studying Korean Studies as major and English Studies as minor at university. I always liked history. Especially the history of different countries. I am also interested in learning about other cultures. I decided to study Korean Studies not only because I like Kpop and Kdrama. These both things played a part in my decision but not as big as the part which the language itself, the Korean history, and the Korean culture played. I became interested in Asia first when I was in kindergarten. We had pictures of different Chinese characters with their German translation hanging on one wall. I often went there and looked at them even if I couldn't even read at that time but I was really fascinated by them. Later in middle school I started watching Anime, reading Mangas and doing Cosplay. That was when I came in contact with Japanese culture. The whole Kdrama and Kpop thing came over a friend. I first started watching Kdramas before starting Kpop. But one day a friend of mine who was a really big BTS fan wanted everyone to become a fan too and introduced us to BTS and Kpop. I will always be thankful to him for that because I really don't know what I would have done with my life if I didn't discovered Kdrama and Kpop. It was like an Epiphany for me. My life became a direction again. Kpop even helped me during the time of my Abitur. I never really wanted to do the Abitur but Kpop, especially BTS encouraged me to do it and helped me to gather the strength and motivation I needed and now I am here studying Korean/Korean Studies. Kdrama played a part too I said. My favourite dramas are the historical ones and because of them I became really interested in Korean history and developed the desire to learn more about it and about the cultural aspects of Korea too. My hobbys are as you can imagine listening to music especially Kpop, Jpop and a few Chinese Songs, watching Asian dramas especially Kdramas and reading books. If the weather is nice and if I have spare time I like to go outside and take walks too. Next year I will go to Korea for one year in order to study Korean there. It is a mandatory part of my major subject. I am already really excited but I have to study Korean really hard!
~Ah and to clarify: my favourite Kpop group/my ult group is BTS. I am an Army with all of my heart 💜
But I also became a multsitan. So maybe I should call myself an ARMY STAY ATINY ENGENE MOA AROHA SHAWOL CARAT...
I only consider myself worth of being part/or calling myself a part of a fandom of a certain group if I at least know half of the names of the members of a group and if I can recognize most of the members.
There are also many more groups I am listening too and actively stanning.

To conclude this way to long introduction I want to say that it is nice to meet you all here and I am very happy that you found this book by chance.
