Y/n Pov
It came to be night again. "Goodnight everyone!" Everyone again, replied. Except for Zero, Who just turned around. Weird.
Time skip
It was around 2 am. I couldn't fall asleep whatsoever, The tent was so hot it was crazy. Maybe fresh air would help? I hopped out of my cot and went outside. Woah..the stars are gorgeous. I laid down, not taking my eyes off of the painted sky.
"Pretty, huh?" Stanley said out of the blue, causing me to jump. "Yea.." I responded. "Why aren't you asleep?" He asked while sitting down. "Couldn't sleep" I said, still not taking my eyes of the stars. "Yea me too". We laid there for a minute.
"Come on, let's go inside." He said, breaking the comfortable silence. "Okay" I slowly started to get up.
We made it to our cots. "Night Stanley" I whispered, "night Y/n" he whispered back.
*The alarm goes off* "ughhhh" I groan, a sleepless night. "Rise and Shine" Pendanski joyfully exclaimed. "Morning Zero" No response. Worth a shot.
I haven't heard a single word out of him. I'm worried. I hope he is okay. He probably doesn't like me. Whatever, don't overthink it.
I was half way done with my hole, when the water truck arrived. Mr.sir. Snack time. "Sandwiches, apples and graham crackers." He announced. I looked and saw Zero and Stanley talking. Why talk to him but not me? Did I do something wrong? Damn it I'm doing it again.
I finished my hole, then Zero did. But he didn't wait for me this time. He hates me.
Zero pov
I don't want to ignore her but clearly she doesn't want anything to do with me romantically or even just have a friendship wise. Though I wish she did. I don't know how to express my feelings. So I won't do it at all.
Y/n pov
I got to the tent, it was empty. I got on the bed and hugged my knees with my head down. My eyes had begun to tear up. Why doesn't he like me? Why is he ignoring me? What did I do wrong? I wanna go back to Niomi. And before I knew it, I was crying.
The tent flaps opened, I didn't bother to see who it was, but then I felt someone hug me. I looked up, it was Stanley. I hugged him back. He is such a good friend.
Then I fell asleep.
Zero Pov
I walked into the tent, I saw Stanley holding Y/n. My jaw dropped And my face fell. God damn it. "Shhh" Stanley motioned. I stormed out of the tent. She likes my best friend.
