A kiss goodnight

A/N: A Harvey/Zoe/Olivia ficlet.

Title: A kiss goodnight.

Summary: Harvey kisses Olivia and Zoe goodnight.

My take on what happens when Olivia wanted Harvey to kiss her goodnight in 2x11.

Characters: Harvey, Zoe, Olivia.

Pairings: Harvey/Zoe.

POVs: Third Person.

Chapter count: 1.

 Harvey gives Zoe a smile as he heads up the stairs to Olivia's room. Olivia's room is fairly obvious to locate at the top of the stairs with a pink door that's slightly ajar. Harvey opens the door wider, the landing light spilling into the room. Olivia is laying down in her bed, her unicorn covered comforter pulled to her waist, a stuffed puppy in her arms.

"Harvey." The little girl says with a sleepy smile. Harvey smiles as he sits down on the edge of her bed, pulling her comforter up to her shoulders, tucking her in before kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight, Olivia, sweet dreams." Harvey whispers to the nearly passed out little girl. "Goodnight, Harvey, sweet dreams." The little girl says, her face morphing into a yawn. Harvey makes no effort to move off the bed, he turns the night light that's sitting atop of the little nightstand on, filling the room in a dark pink light so that if Olivia wakes up during the night, she won't wake up in a dark room. He watches as she sleeps, her arms tightening around her stuffed dog, soft snores emitting from her slightly parted lips.

"Harvey." A hushed whisper comes from the doorway, Harvey jumps and turns his head to the door and sees Zoe leaning against the door frame, a smile on her face as she watches her date watching her niece sleep. "Hey." Harvey whispers back, putting a finger to his lips, nudging his head to the sleeping girl in the bed. Harvey gets to his feet, placing one more kiss to Olivia's forehead before walking to the door and pecking Zoe on her lips. "Come on, let's go downstairs, she's asleep." Harvey whispers, walking out of the room, closing the door over and stealing one more glance at Olivia before following Zoe back downstairs to the living room.

"So how long were you watching me watching Olivia sleeping?" He asks as he helps her clean up, taking the plates off her and putting them in the kitchen sink. Zoe laughs. "I followed you up and I saw it all." Zoe says, joining him in the kitchen with the empty pizza box in her hand. Harvey stops washing the plates and looks at her, one of his eyebrows raised. "Really?" he asks, Zoe just nods before walking to her fridge and getting a bottle of wine and two glasses and pouring them both a glass, handing him his. Taking a sip of the wine, he smiles at Zoe.

"She's a great kid, Zoe, she's lucky to have you as an aunt." Harvey says, moving one of Olivia's stuffed animals off the couch and onto the coffee table. Zoe laughs. "Yeah, she is." The blonde woman says, putting her wine glass next to the stuffed animal. "Do you wanna watch a movie before you go?" Zoe asks, chucking him the remote to the TV. Harvey chuckles. "I think I have time for a quick movie." The lawyer says as he goes on Netflix.

Almost two hours later, after watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid and drinking half a bottle of wine with Zoe, he's standing in the doorway, staring into Zoe's eyes.

"Aren't you going to kiss me goodnight?" She teases as she sees Ray, Harvey's personal driver pulling up to the side of the curb, Harvey laughs before pulling her into a deep kiss. All too soon for any of their likings, Harvey pulls away, Harvey pulls away, leaning his forehead against hers.

"Goodnight, Zoe." Harvey says softly, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes.

"Goodnight, Harvey." Zoe whispers.

Harvey kisses her one last time before walking to his car, turning back around to look at her.

"Sweet dreams, Zoe." Harvey says, Zoe smiles, her whole face dazzling him.

"Sweet dreams, Harvey." Zoe says before Harvey gets into his car, opening the window and mouthing another goodnight. Zoe just shakes her head as she watches Ray drive Harvey away and closes her door, leaning against it and touching her lips where Harvey kissed her twice.

Tonight has been one of the best nights of her life and she can't wait for another night like it.
