tanjiro- father what are you doing?
tanjuro- i'm doing our family's kagura dance to the fire god to ward off catastrophe or injury... you soon will learn this dance and take my stead tanjiro.
a few weeks would go bye, tanjiro's dad would go to town and would be back in 1 or 2 hours... while tanjiro's dad was gone tanjiro would hear his mother and his siblings scream he would see a man trying to rob them of their charcoal... tanjiro with his quick thinking took the wooden sword he would use to practice the dance of the fire god... he would see all the organs and muscles of the man, he could predict his movements with the transparent world and he also had a great sense of smell... tanjiro took a breath and in a flash tanjiro would take down the man.

the man would lay on the floor unconscious as his mother watched from a distance shocked by how fast it happened she would look at tanjiro and tanjiro would say
tanjiro- mother are you okay?
kie- i'm fine tanjiro, but how did you....
tanjiro- i used fathers dance mother
tanjiro's mom was so shocked she did't have no words but she was also happy that no one was hurt .... tanjiro's dad would come home and would be confused to as why there's a man unconscious on the floor... kie would explain everything to tanjuro and he would feel ashamed that he wasn't there to protect them and apologized to his family. he would walk up to tanjiro (tanjiro as always never showed emotion he was like a plant but at the same time he was soft spoken and kind and had a warm smile)

he would tell tanjiro that he's a remarkable kid and that he's proud of him for protecting their family... tanjiro would talk with his dad and they would talk about the dance of the fire god and how it was in the kamado family for generations..
4 months go bye and tanjiro's dad was nearing death
tanjuro- tanjiro i don't have much time left so let's talk
tanjiro- yes father
tanjuro- i have to make sure this kagura dance gets passed down to you tanjiro .... it's what i promised, so promise me you will master this dance and perform it at the beginning of each year.
tanjiro- i promise father if it's your wish than i will do my best to master the dance of the fire god.
