                     It is no secret that Kaeya Alberich, Mondstadt's chivalry captain, has taken an interest in the strange-yet-respectable traveler turned hero of Mondstadt. It isn't the first time though — that the cryo-wielder has taken a liking to someone, it is however, the first time he liked someone to the point he would show dedication.

A feat that the captain rarely shows — yes, even in his own job.

Even the man himself doesn't know what has drawn him to the other, was it the immense selflessness that the traveler has shown throughout their stay in the City of Freedom? Or was it their bravery, their sheer strength, or even their witty remarks that made him fall head over heels for the person? Either way, he is as lost as his feelings are.

It isn't a rare sight for the people of Mondstadt to see the casanova following the traveler around — if anything, it would be strange if HE ISN'T around. That's how much he had glued himself onto the other.

So when the traveler has finally made their way to Liyue and Kaeya isn't able to accompany them due to his responsibilities as the captain of the Knights of Favonious, it is no surprise to see him distracted on his work and even depressingly doubling his time on the tavern every night. He would often be seen chugging away on the counter, sauntering in front of Diluc — or if the other is extra pissy that night, you can see him downing several bottles of wine at the corner.

That is until Rosaria came along.

Rosaria is a member of the church, a nun — although she doesn't act like one. Only a few knows of where she came from nor about her in general, but she can always be seen drinking away at Angel's Share if she isn't stalking around at the dead of the night around the city.

She and Kaeya were wary of each other at first, the captain being subtle about his suspicion towards the nun while the other downright expressing hostility by throwing sassy and passive aggressive remarks towards him. How the two became drinking buddies afterwards is beyond anyone's comprehension, but to Diluc it would make sense as how often the two would waste their night drinking and bickering among themselves.

As such, it didn't take long until they would seek each other out for mere company. In more ways than one.

It was a cold night, it had been a week since the Windblume festival and a week since Kaeya has last seen the traveler. They just came so that they could experience the festival before going to search for their long lost sibling once more. In their visit, they were accompanied by a short blacked haired man — an anemo-vision wielder, the traveler calls him an 'adepti' whom they met and traveled alongside with in Liyue.

Kaeya notes how distant and cold the short man seems towards others, but warm and comfortable around his companion.
