Hello everyone. As I promised, here is the update on the story. Tomorrow is my graduation and I most probably would be partying the whole weekend so the next update for Ishq Na Hove would be up by next week Monday. Sorry for the delay but your girl's gotta enjoy her adult life. I wrote a longer chapter this time to compensate for the duration you have to wait for the next update. Thank you all for taking your time to vote for the previous parts. It has honestly made my day Have a great read <3

Part 5

Abhimanyu turned to look at the person holding him from behind. It was Kairav. Abhi could see the anger in his eyes and he knew that Kairav could easily destroy him if he wanted to. Abhi had a feeling he knew why Kairav was so angry, but he didn't want to jump to conclusions just yet. He needed to find out what had happened and if Akshu had seen the message. Kairav's rigid and cold demeanour was not a good sign for Abhi.

Abhi: "Kairav, kya hua tha? What happened to Akshu after we left?" he questioned calmly knowing that Kairav was mad at him about something.

Kairav: "Do you really want to know Dr Abhimanyu Birla?" he asked sarcastically.

Abhimanyu, at that moment, knew that Kairav saw the message that he had sent in a jiff of anger but how was he going to explain himself.

He felt frustrated and angry at himself for not being able to control his temper and ruining things for himself. If only he could turn back time and take back that message, Abhimanyu thought to himself while shaking his head in annoyance. He wanted to bang his head on a wall for the mess he had created for himself.

Kairav looked at Abhi and exhaled slowly. He couldn't be mad at him too. His sister was at equal fault as him. He can understand what Abhi is going through right now clearly. After all, who better understands the feeling of losing a mother than a person who has already lost two of them at a very tender age. He knew Abhimanyu's world-famous anger and didn't want to trigger it right now, especially when his sister was sleeping next to them on a hospital bed. He took a deep breath and started talking.

Kairav: "Can we talk outside Abhimanyu?" he asked calmly.

When Kairav suddenly changed his behaviour, Abhi was partially surprised. He knows he needs to explain himself and this is his chance. He nods and walks out slowly behind Kairav, trying not to make any noise. But before leaving, he turned to look at Akshu one more time, caressing her pale cheeks and placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

He closed the door slowly, turned around and came face to face with not one but three faces. It was Neil, Kairav and Vansh. He needed their help to fix this mess. And for that, he needs to tell everything to them. They walked out towards the garden in the hospital as it was almost 3 am and it was empty. He slowly turned towards them and was about to open his mouth to talk when Kairav interrupted him.

Kairav: "Let me come straight to the point, were you seriously going to call off the wedding like you told Akshu?" shot his question to Abhi keeping a no-nonsense face.

Vansh: WHATTT? What do you mean by calling off the wedding? Have you lost your mind Abhimanyu? What were you thinking? Were you thinking at all? Because it looks like you weren't thinking at all. Is that why Akshu is in the hospital right? It is the reason, isn't it? Tell me, why are you keeping your mouth shut?" yelled Vansh at the top of his voice.

Kairav and Neil had to calm Vansh down and warn him that they were in a hospital and it is best to listen to all sides of the story and then come to a conclusion. Abhi was drowning in guilt every passing minute. His mother is a terrible condition and could barely walk. And currently, his Akshu is in the hospital struggling to even breathe on her own. He felt like a failure at that very moment. The two people he loved the most in this entire world were hurt and were in pain. Unfortunately, he can't do anything to fix it.
