Hooked (Part 7)

(I hope this chapter isn't disappointing to some viewers! I tried my best to push through since writing block has been hitting me hard these days!)

It was late in the afternoon, you felt no one but yourself.  This made you think you were at home in your own cozy bed sleeping in on a Saturday afternoon. You didn't think to check the date and laid there about to go into another slumber. That was until your senses started to kick in and you slowly started to wake up. You sit up to find yourself in a particular room you have never seen before. Your head started to ache while sitting up. "Hangover.." you comment with a sigh. Soon you look around and find yourself in quite a bland room but it was clean at least. There was a desk near the exit of the room that had piles of files on it. "..did I hook up with a business man..?" You ask yourself awkwardly getting off the bed."S-shit.. N-no not crocodile.." you say in worry panicking a bit.

"Maybe I can just sneak out.." you whisper to yourself, tip-toeing your way to the door. After two steps you created a large creak from the wooden floor. "Crap.." you had already failed your morning mission.

As you stand in front of the door it quickly opens revealing Law in a black t-shirt and grey shorts. He stands there holding a wooden tray with fresh breakfast such as a bowl of beef stew and noodles. (Vietnamese version of beef stew) "L-law?? I-I didn't know you could cook." You say in shock, staring at the dish. He quickly got offended and placed it on his desk. The one thing you were worried about was him having cooking skills, how ironic..

"You should still be in bed." He said pushing you back over to the bed. You fall on your face against the fluffy pillows. You quickly turn around sitting up on the bed. "I'll get you some more medicine in a sec. You need to eat." He grabbed the tray once again and put it on your lap.

"..Thank you" you happily take the spoon that was available and began to eat. "..this is delicious.." you compliment while eating it more. Law begins to clean his desk with the piles of files on it. "..I called Corazon earlier this morning. He claimed he felt better and decided to take over today." Law informed you. You nod your head and slurp the noodles in the soup. "..So this is your place..?" You ask while placing the empty bowl down on the tray. You completely ignored his statement, you distracted yourself by the food.

" Yeah, I lived closer so I just came here." He put the files into a drawer. "I hope you don't mind.." he said while turning to look back at you.

"I-It's fine I-" a migraine had interrupted you. You put a hand to your head and take the pain. "I'll go grab you some medicine." He speedwalked out of the room. You stay silent trying to hold in the pain. "Dang.. I haven't drank in forever.." you put the tray on the nightstand. "I have to meet up with Crocodile today.. I forgot.." you tried to get out of bed but the pain got worse. You heard Law quickly run into the room with a bottle of painkillers.

"Y/n-ya, you need to stay in bed." He quickly went over to you. He pushed you back into the bed and handed you a bottle of water and the medicine. "Take these.." he demanded. You grab the medicine and water and gulp it down quickly. "...I have to meet up with Crocodile today." You complain trying to get up again. He pushes you back down and grabs your purse that was on the floor. "I'll text him. Shanks texted us in the group chat his info." He said while taking your phone out of your purse. You let out a sigh of defeat and relaxed.

"The plan will be a dinner date. That will give you more time to rest." Law informed while holding up your phone to your face. It unlocks and he continues his way to your text app. "I'll deal with it.. You go ahead and rest." Law demanded once again standing near you while texting. "H-Hold on! L-like tonight..?" You ask, still laying there feeling weak. "..Shanks told me that was the plan. They want to see if you can get any information out of him." Law said while texting supposedly Crocodile.
