Bright stars light up the sky. Diamonds far away, shining on earth; spreading across the dark velvet of the nights sky. Near a lake in the forest, the omega sat, admiring the koi's swimming in circles.
Left alone to be in his thoughts. This was their last night in the kingdom of Beilif. As promised, he and the king had met. Many times. So much so, that others were starting to question the twos relationship. And quite honestly, they were too. What exactly was their relationship with each other? Were they friends? Acquaintances? Lovers?
With a sudden jump, Jungwon startled, turning to see the vampire smiling at him. The boy scooted over as the man sat next to him.
"What are you thinking about now?" he questioned
"We leave tomorrow morning," he replied with a sigh. "We have to leave at dawn if we want to get to Strayville by dark and have enough time to set up camp."
"I wish you could stay longer"
"As do I, but alas, I am a wandering performer. I have to go"
Jay stayed silent for a moment, contemplating his next words. He opened his mouth, begining to speak.
"Why don't you stop being a wandering circus. Stay in Beilif."
"The circus was created to bring joy all over the continent, to take in people who have been hurt or wronged by the world" Jungwon explained, "By staying in one place, we are breaking that tradition."
Jay sighed, giving up on his advance to keep the boy by his side. He didn't want to lose the younger. This was the fastest he had ever gotten close to a person. It's like they were meant to be together.
Jay put his forehead against Jungwon's, looking the other in the eyes.
"I don't want to lose you"
"We'll be back," the younger replied, returning his gaze. "We always come back, eventually"
"Prove it to me," he whispered, their breaths intermingling.
"I will"
(Time Skip: Brought to you by an author who isn't in the mood to write smut)
It was past midnight, the two lay on the grass near the lake; Jungwon's head on Jay's bare chest. Jay squeezed the younger's waist, pulling him tighter to himself, never wanting to let go.
"Jay, I don't want to leave"
"Then don't"
"I have to," Jungwon replied. After all, tradition is what makes the world go around.
Jay sighed, carefully sitting up, keeping his arms around the younger. "It's late, we should get you back. You need as much rest as you can get"
The other nodded, getting up and carefully putting his clothes back on.
The two had an emotional goodbye before parting ways, Jay returning to the palace, Jungwon to the caravan.
Come morning, the two would separate. But the red strings of fate still connect them, bringing dark prowess with it.
A/N: Hey y'all! I got a job for the summer! 😃. I originally was going to write smut in this chapter, but decided against it.
I know, the story is moving really fast, but I'm that's for a reason. I am impatient. That is the reason.
I wanted them to get "together" already, only to be torn apart by tradition. And speaking of tradition, why dont we create new traditions?
And who should I make the main villain of the story? I want it to be another gen 4 idol. I. Thinking Karina or Ning Ning from Aespa? I don't know. And if you didn't notice my reference to Stray Kids, I am a HUGE fan.
And btw, I am so mad at Sasaeng STAY for crowding then so much at the airport that Han got hurt. They are HUMAN BEINGS, not objects in a museum! They have thoughts, they have feelings!
You can't just crowd someone like that! Especially when they have social anxiety! I am disappointed in Sasaeng STAY right now and I hope they learn a lesson or at least get what's coming for them.
They didn't care about injuries, as long as they got their pictures! And if Han has to wear a cast because of the elbow injury, then ISTG I'm going to go off harder than I ever have before! This isn't even the first time Sasaengs have done this either!
Anyways, enjoy the chapter guys! And don't forget to recommend a villain for me in the comments or in DMS! <3
