Previously in Ch.1:

Bunny began to go ahead again. "North says he might not make it through the night". With that said bunny stopped again and i saw his ears droop again. "Well he better make it because.... because even if i don't like the bloke for all that he's done. This world these people and children they need fear...without it theirs nothing to hold them back from doing something stupid and getting grit or worse killed". When bunny finished he left disappearing through the doors. I watched somewhat shocked as to what he just said.

The moment didn't last for were though as tooth and sandy came by me. Sandy making some sand images over his head saying it's going to be ok. I wasn't to sure if it was, because a world without the Boogeyman without fear, is going to be bad very very bad for weeks to come. This world might be doomed without fear in it to control the outcome.

(Back to story authors pov)

A week has passed and pitch is still unconscious, bunny, north and jack all take turns watching over him and his wounds the first few days went relatively well the bleeding has stopped, stitches were holding well, and the Boogeyman was alseep. Bunny had suggested puting him in chains so he doesn't run off and hurt himself, but jack and north didn't like that idea and thought it wouldn't end well. But a few days after that pitch had a very high fever and he had woken....somewhat at least he was to out of it to even know what was going on.

Pitch in his fevered state ending up tearing a few of his stitches trying to get away. And that's when maybe it was a slightly good idea to secure him so it wouldn't happen again. And so bunny chained his wrists lightly to the wall so he wouldn't go anywhere they tried to break the fever he had it went down a little bit it didn't fully go away. Pitch was also sweating to much and dazed, but he mostly just slept and when he slept he got nightmare's. There wasn't anything they could do with that until sandy got there to get rid of them.

And once the nightmare's were their they didn't go away forever, when it was a bad one the shadows would form and move on their own much the same way they saw back at the coffee shop. Once sandy turned the nightmare to a good dream the shadows disappeared along with it but pitch never had a good dream stay it wouldn't even form and it just vanish. A week has past with this going on and during the end of week pitchs fever went down more and his sweating had ceased.

One night when jack was going to check on pitch, pitch had finally woke up and to say he reacted badly was an understatement. Pitch was screaming at the top of his lungs pulling at the chains his whole body screamed he was afraid. Jack tried to calm him down and explain and was about to unlock the chains but pitch didn't listen and was thrashing around to much. The others got their slamming through the door with a loud bang to see what was going on. That only made things worse.

(Jack's pov)

"Pitch! Stop your going to hurt yourself if you keep doing that!". I yelled out to pitch but he wasn't listening. He kept yanking at his chains harshly trying to get away he was screaming so much and i didn't understand most of what he said. "NO LET ME GO!!! I'LL BE GOOD JUST PLEASE NO MORE!! NO MORE!!" That's when the others came rushing through the door which only made it worse. As soon as pitch saw them he tried even harder to get himself free.

His wrist was already bleeding at this rate he'll end up pulling his hand off trying to get away. As the guardians all tried to get him to calm down and subdue him he thrashing around more hitting them away i can see his whole body shaking, and the look in his eyes i believe he doesn't even know where he's at. He's pupils were so dilated, his wounds were bleeding and as bunny got hit in the face by pitch.

Pitch pulling harder and that's when things really went bad, he got free but at the cost of his hand, the handcuff tore through his hand and thumb but with the amount of blood and pulling he did he managed to get free. And when he did his fell backwards hitting the ground bit as soon as he got to the ground he backed away. He didn't seemed to bothered with the state of his new injury i didn't even think he felt the amount of pain he must be in in this state.
