It is something that not everyone gets especially to those who you have just met and don't know you are a sarcastic person. It most likely will not work unless you have been close friends with that person and you have known each other for more than 5 years.

If you must be sarcastic over text it's best to clarify that you were being sarcastic by either saying you were being sarcastic or using overly dramatic emojis you would never use if you were bing serious.
However the best option would be to just not be sarcastic over text. It's that simple.
