"Good move, Mason" Santa said, and they both bumped their fists.
Santa cleared his throat and took off his seatbelt, looking out the open car window "alright" he started trying to get up "slow down, Mason" he said, and Mason did what he was told to "see if we can find my reindeer" Santa added, then got up and sat on the car hood, because the car was convertible. He started calling some names "Donner! Comet!" He whistled once "Blitzen!" He continued whistling and clicking his tongue hoping he will attract the reindeer "Dasher!". Andrew was videotaping.
Then soon some jingle bells were heard "You guys- there they are!" Andrew yelled "where?!" Santa responded, looking down at Andrew and Tabitha "back down that street! Turn around, Mason! Turn around!!" Tabitha replies agitated.
Mason picked up the speed and turned around. He kept walking until Santa saw the reindeer "Mason! Stop the car" he ordered, and Mason did as he was told to. Santa jumped on the ground from the car and started calling them "Prancer! Dancer! Get back here! Comet!! Cupid! Donner!" He glanced back before continuing "did I say Dasher? I always forget Vixen. VIXEN!" He continued yelling, as Mason was running towards him, looking to a direction.
Tabitha's face got pale. "Guys! GUYS!" She pointed to a police car, and everyone looked at it.
"Alright, Tabitha, Andrew, come here" Santa called them over as the two younger siblings went up to him.
"yeah?" Tabitha and Andrew answered, and looked at Santa.
"You two go after the reindeer. Mason and I are gonna buy you some time" Santa said, the two younger siblings nodded.
"What? No we can't just leave my little sister and brother all alone out here!" Mason shouted.
"Mason, We can handle it." Tabitha answered.
"But-I-" he was cut off by Santa "They said they can handle it, Mason"
Santa turned back to the girls "I've always believed in you, two." He said, smiling warmly.
Rookie barked in Tabitha's arms, trying to get attention.
"And, you too, Rookie"
Rookie let out a happy bark with a puppy smile.
"We've always believed in you" Tabitha smiled.
"...unlike some people.." Andrew, looking at Mason, who rolled his eyes too. Tabitha tried holding back her laughing.
"Guys we better move" Mason said, looking at the police car which was coming towards them.
"You can do this guys, go get 'em!" Santa said.
Tabitha and Andrew smiled and ran towards the direction where the reindeer were. The police siren started making sound, and Santa looked at the car "All right, all right." He saw Mason run towards the car "Hey hey hey hey! I'm driving, I'm-" he raised his voice "DUDE! OUT!" He shouted and Mason backed up, as Santa went to the driver's seat.
Before Mason could get inside too, a police man with a speaker spoke up " get out of the vehicle." Mason sped up and got in.
"Come on, Come on, quick! Here we go!" Santa said as he accelerated.
"HEY! GET OUT OF THE CAR MAN" the police guy yelled this time.
"yeah, yeah I got it" Santa said, messing up again "OH MY GOD IT'S AN AUTOMATIC!" Mason yelled, and Santa yelled back "I'm a little rusty! relax!".
"IT'S NOT THAT COMPLICATED" Mason shouted, and Santa accelerated again, now finally leaving.
The police man got back in the car and drove behind them, with the sirens on.
