-Chole POV-
"What do you mean you are on vacation for a month, Sabrina, you know you should be here with me, not on vacation" Chole yelled into her phone as she walks back-and-forth in her room. It was at times like this she wondered if Sabrina was really honest when she said she would always be there for her.
"Well, am sorry Chole, my father dropped this on me last minute so I couldn't convince him to let me stay. Am so sorry Chole is there any way you could forgive me" Sabrina begged on the other side of the phone as the thought of Chole being mad at her broke her heart.
"Whatever, I don't want to hear these excuses, for right now this is the only time I will let you off the hunk, but if you do this again, we are no longer best friends," Chole said as she walked back to her bed and sat down on her bed with her legs crossed.
"Oh, Thanks Chole, you really are the best, I promise I will tell you next time if I get the chance to," Sabrina said as you can hear giggling from the other line.
"Whatever, I only letting you go because I don't want to hear that I don't give you a break," she said as she rolled her eyes. With that, Chole hung up the call and fell back first on her bed.
That was it, Sabrina the only close friend she had, just walked out of her life for a mouth. This was sad and confusing now that she thought about it. First, it was her mother who left, then Adrian, and now Sabrina. They all left her as if she was just an object and she let them leave. She let them leave with no consequences. She knew this yet she did nothing; all she did was just wonder what she did wrong.
She knew she was a brat, and a little selfish as she liked to put it but she always thought it was something else. She always felt like she was just cursed from birth, cursed to have everyone leave when she started to care a little too much about them. With those thoughts in mind, Chole starts to notice a lot of things, especially about her and Adrian's friendship.
She knew about her and her mother's relationship, she knew about her and Sabrina's relationship. She knew because she knew better than to think it would change, but with Adrian, it took her by surprise when things started to change out of nowhere.
Especially after he started to date the baker girl.He started to hang out with her less and less, but she expected that, but the reason behind it, the reason she though was because she was a bad influence and that she doesn't deserve Adrain, not her words but the baker girl's words. The baker girl acts like she's the one in control of him, as if they didn't know each other since childhood and have been around each other for more than 6 years.
If anything, she's the one who should back off.If anything, the only thing she wants to do right now is just relax without worrying about the world. Was that too much to ask?

With that, her thoughts were cut off by the sound of her phone ringing. She slowly grabbed her phone and checked to see who was calling. When she checks to see who it was, it was numbers she didn't recognize. With that, she put it next to her, and let it ring.
After a bit it stopped ringing, the first thought was getting ready for bed, she really did need it since it was 11 PM, and she had to go to school in the morning. And since Sabrina is not here she has to wake up herself, she really didn't want to go through that, but she has to do what she has to do.

Her thoughts were interrupted again with her phone ringing, she picks up her phone and checks the number, it was the same number that called. She looks at her phone waiting for it to ring 2 times and declined the call. She puts the phone to her side again and waits for it to ring again just in case it calls again. Planning on answering the third call if they don't call in the next 5 minutes.
Just like that after a good 2 minutes her phone rings she checks expecting the number to call again, and she was right as when checked the number it was the same number. At this point, she was going to get to the bottom of who was calling her at this time.
When she answers she started yelling asking who it was and why they were calling now of all times.
"Oh, sorry chole I didn't know you were busy" a similar voice came out from the other side of the phone in an apologizing voice. With that it hit her like a brick, Adrain was on the other line, but the true question was who's phone was he calling from and why.
"OH, Adrian I didn't know that was you, anyway what do you need" Chole responded trying to drag on the conversation to see what was going on to see why he was calling from a different number. She might not be close to him right now but that doesn't mean she didn't care for him.
"Well, I was wondering if you would mind hanging out with me right now," he asked with a hopping voice. As he was hoping to, she will say yes.
"I don't mind, but why now, and who's phone are you using right now"
"Well, the reason why is what I was hoping we can talk about, and I am talking on Luka's phone." He said as he sits properly on Luka's family couch upstairs near the entrance.
"Wait you mean the lame music guy that blogger girl talk about," she said as slowly get up to get ready and go to wherever Adrian is.
"Yes, that one, and also I have this on speaker," he said as he softly laughed.
"Whatever, who cares anyway where is this place," she said as started to take off the clothes she had on and put on different ones.
"Don't worry I will send you the address and the directions, see you when you get here bye" Adrian said as he hung up.
With that, she got ready for whatever Adrian was sending her to, fully ready to get this out of the way and find out what was wrong with him.
