Entering a Strange New World

       Just how disastrous can my life get? I may not have the best relationship with my parents and not to mention my social life is nonexistent thanks to the severe social anxiety that loves to prevent my friend making skills. But just when I'm about to make a key change in my life, to turn my sad life around, and go to the place I dreamed of (France) some buttface decides that this plane is the perfect one for a weapon against the American government.
        And what would you know he had us crash into a mountain, I don't even think the mountain had a name. I just wanted a chance to do something meaningful for myself, set some new goals, and actually be successful.
          That's when my eyes opened and I shot up in a sitting position. Surrounding me wasn't just surprisingly, lusious, green grass but also crystal clear water. I was so confused so I stood up to take in my bearings.
           I realized then that what I was wearing was not what I had on for the plane. For one thing, I've never known myself to own such nice looking, comfortable, black pants such as these. And I have no idea where with golden yellow suit vest came from, and to top it all off I have a white button up under shirt with a brown coat to protect me from the cold.
           To say I was freaking out would be an understatement, in fact I was sure that I was one the edge of hyperventilation. What kept me from further losing my mind was a pop up. As in some sort of screen pop up. It was a map and it had an arrow which I assumed was were I was standing and the location read 'Falcon Coast'.
            It was then I thought to myself, 'How the heck did I end up in Genshin?' It's unbelievable, I couldn't believe it, and I wasn't sure how to process this. So I didn't, I took a deep breath and I moved on. I'm in Genshin, okay, what's my next move.
            If I could make this map appear surely I could make all the other assets appear as well, so I played around with the map until I figure out how to access the other assets that are shown in the game.
            I looked at my inventory, my quest board (to which I have no quests), my passage of time, and the tutorials. There were a few things that weren't there such as the wishs but I didn't really find that nessary for me to have.
            I then made it to the character archive so I looked through it and wondered if I somehow made it on there. What do I find? Me. Or at least the person whose clothes I'm wearing we had the same name though so I guess it really is me. We don't really look anything alike. I now have really pale skin with the blackest of hair, and golden eyes that shine like the sun. I guess in Genshin every character is attractive by default.
              There I am, y/n, I feel like such a self insert character but at the very least I'll look at my information I better have a good background story or else I might turn out to be a cringy oc.
              Not much is known such as family members or and relations I might have which is understandable when moving into a new world, but it's suggested that when I was younger I wanted to become stronger due to an unknown condition that stunted my growth a little and had me on the more skinny side. It was only when I claimed the mountain that's said to be the closest to the sky the condition was pretty much no longer active or deadly.
                It was on that mountain that I received my unique vision. Since then it's said that whoever made it to the top of that mountain would be forever blessed by the gods because being on that mountain changed my appearance which is supposedly proof that the gods blessed me.
                It's surprising what my vision is. Being that it's two twin hand guns, I'm not an expert with guns all I know is that its two guns and I can switch the ammunition into the many different elements, like from Pyro to Cyro, or Geo to Ameno. And what's my special attack, a sniper riffle.
              It took me a while to figure my attacks out, on the bright side there's no safety on the guns. I know this because I pulled the trigger on accident and hit a bird, but thank god it wasn't pointing in my direction.
              I did collect the meat from the bird, I felt bad for killing it so I would make sure not to waste it. The inventory kinda works like my vision if I put it away it dissapears and when I want it I'll pull it back out.
               After a bit of some more exploring I settled down in a Hilicurl camp I cleared out and thought some things through.
                To be honest, this isn't really all that bad sure I get the chance to meet some awesome and sexy characters but the thing I enjoyed the most was how it was a free world and you could go everywhere and anywhere, and so I decided that I would make my fresh start here. I'll talk to people join the adventurer's guild and do quests to keep me busy. I'll be free to roam around and explore as much as I want.
              I'll be stronge and help anyone who needs it. I'll be the support and backup for any battle or mission I'm faced with. So tomorrow I'll head to Mondstadt and get my gliders license.
