keira's pov

thud

"ouch"

the cold tip of the spear was placed on my neck, one wrong move and I might just hurt myself, so I choose to stay still despite laying on the floor, with this oh so familiar man on top of me.

what is happening

I thought to myself as he stared to my eyes, the tension was intense. sure I'm nervous, I may or may not die right here on the spot.

"who are you?" he spoke it almost sounded like a growl, and it made me shake in fear.... or maybe I'm shaking because of the excitement rushing through my nerves.

"I uh... uhm, uh... I'm"

"speak"

"I am speaking, but uh.. this position is a bit... too, uncomfortable" I stated, looking away. seeing him on top of me gives me butterflies in my stomach, making my heart beat so much, as if I just ran a marathon.

with a swift movement he stood up, still placing the spear near my neck, but unlike earlier it was not that close, but it was still dangerous for me to much too much.

he might see me as a threat or maybe he already does. "you're... you're real?" I whispered staring at those golden eyes.

"what?"

"what the you're... you're real?

".... "

" YOU'RE REAL! " I screamed, never in myself had I imagined that I would see him this close.

and I never thought that he's real he's not suppose to be someone who breaths the same air, and step on the same ground as me.

I heard him whince, glaring at me who just smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry for yelling so suddenly"

"mortal, answer my question"

"oh.. right"

how do I start, I also don't have any ideas on how he suddenly appeared out of nowhere when I was just trying to pee, and then all of a sudden he's infront of me, his spear on my neck.

"c-can you atleast move your spear"

"how can I trust you"

"I'm obviously harmless, see? I'm nothing but a weak mortal" I smiled. I swear I could feel the cold sweat rolling down my neck. a sigh was heard as soon as the spear disappeared in thin air.

he then proceed to glare at me again, waiting for an answer from his previous question.

"what is this place?"

I sighed, taking a deep breath and deciding to only speak the truth. "you're.. currently in a world called earth" I started, xiao look at me still confused.

yes, xiao is infront of me. a fictional character that I have been simping even since I started playing the damned game.

"and how did I end up here?" he questioned "you're not a demon are you?" he was about to take out his weapon again when I shook my head repeatedly.

"I look normal, don't I. so no I'm not a demon"

"some demons hide in mortal faces. it is always hard to determine whether someone is a demon, or a mortal" said xiao.

sure you can call me a demon for being a good for nothing daughter, and probably had lie a lot just to cover up my own mistakes, making sure the people around me won't get dissapointed.

but if you're talking about those demons who eat children, then that's probably not me.

I'm a different kind of demon. "demons doesn't exist in this world. I mean maybe they do exist, but I'm not someone who's capable of seeing them" I explained.

"to answer your question, no I don't know how you end up in this world. I am also as confused as you, xiao"

"how did you know my name?" he asked. and I know, this will be the start of my long explanation, as long as those essays I write for my projects.

I do hope he'll understand...
