When Hongjoong introduced San to him, it was a blessing but at the same time his nightmare.

"Hey Hwa I'll talk to you later. Sannie and I have to do something important." Hongjoong said before they parted ways.

He saw San just across the street waving at them, Hongjoong waved back while Seonghwa only smiled awkwardly.

'What will I do now?' He said to himself, releasing a deep sigh.

'is calling Yunho and Wooyoung an option? Or would it only look like I'm talking to them to entertain myself?'

Seonghwa didn't know if suddenly joining them would be a great idea knowing that he was with Hongjoong for the past couple of days– weeks rather.

'calling them wouldn't hurt right? I'll just try...' He whispered as he looked for his phone, scrolling for the number of Yunho or Wooyoung.

He would just call the first contact number that he will see.

As he scrolled his contacts, Seonghwa couldn't help himself but feel weird.

It was weird for him because for the past few days, Hongjoong has been very busy and unavailable.

'Im sorry hwa, I had something important to do'

'I'll talk to you later Hwa, I have to resolve something.'

'Hwa I have to go, Sannie and I have some matters to do.'

That's what Hongjoong said to him whenever he asked to hangout with him.

It's not that Hongjoong needs to be with him all the time, it's just that being away a lot made him have doubts.

Yunho's name was the first one he saw. He opened their chat and messaged the younger one.

Hwa
> Hey Yuyu, are you busy?

Yuyu
> Just a little bit hyung
> Why did you ask? Is there something wrong?

Seonghwa felt hesitant to answer the younger's question. Not wanting to make Yunho worry and disturb him even if he knows that he is disturbing him right now.

Hwa
> There's nothing wrong. I just wanted to ask what you were doing.

Yuyu
> oh okay hyung
> Just message me if you need something
> And also! Wooyoung says hi

Hwa
> You're with Woo right now?

Yuyu
> Yeah, we are working on an assignment that our professor has given to us earlier
> It was a pair assignment that's why both of us paired up

Hwa
> Okay Yuyu, both of you should focus on your work again. I'll talk to you later.

Yuyu
> Okay hyung
> Talk to you later!

After Yunho's reply, he turned his phone off and continued to walk. Seonghwa didn't know where he was going but he ended up in front of a park where they were introduced to San a few days ago.

There weren't a lot of people since it was a weekday. There were couples holding hands and being all lovey dovey.

'Were we like that in front of Woo and Yuyu most of the time?' he asked himself, reflecting on his actions.

He couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt hitting him. He knows for sure that he made two of his friends uncomfortable because of this.

He didn't feel like staying any longer in the park. That's why he decided to go home and study or do some homeworks too.

It wasn't a lot but it took him a few hours to finish.

It was already quarter to eleven and he needed to eat something. He quickly boiled water and got some instant ramen.

It only took him a few minutes before he finished it and decided to finally rest.

He scrolled his phone hoping that Hongjoong would somehow text him or even give him a call.

But just like he was expecting, there was none.

He closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep with a feeling that something bad was going to happen the next day.

When the next day came, Seonghwa woke up to the sound of someone knocking on his door.

He quickly made himself look presentable and checked whoever was disturbing him early in the morning.

"Who is it?" He said opening the door.

"Hey Hwa hyung! I just wanted to give this to you." The newcomer said.

"What's inside this Mingi?" The older replied.

"Well, there was someone standing in front of your house earlier and it looked like they were hesitant to give this to you. I told them that I could give it to you later and they agreed. It looked like they were in a hurry." Mingi replied once again.

Who was Mingi in Seonghwa's life? Well, he is one of Seonghwa's neighbors. They mostly see each other in the morning before classes or in the afternoon when he comes home.

That's why both of them were close at some point.

"Did they tell you their name or maybe who it was from?" Seonghwa asked, having a bad feeling about this package.

"Not really. When they gave me that, they immediately left. All I know is that the person that was here earlier was a male." The younger replied.

"Oh, okay. Thanks Mingi!" Seonghwa said, taking the package from the younger and going back inside his home. The other also did the same and also went back to his own home.

When Seonghwa was finally alone, he was hesitating. He didn't know if opening the package would be a good idea because he didn't even order anything.

'There is nothing to lose if I open this right?'

He said it to himself, trying to gain courage. Looking at the package gave him a really odd feeling that something bad happened but he could just be paranoid.

He took a deep breath and opened it.

The first thing that he found were flowers.

It shocked him because of the chosen flowers that were inside.

'Maybe it was sent to the wrong address? These are yellow roses and a mix of yellow and white chrysanthemums.' He said to himself knowing that these flowers mean break up and goodbye.

He searched further inside the box and he couldn't believe what he saw.

There was a letter at the bottom.

He read the letter to see who it was from and he felt tears start to drop from his eyes...

It was from Kim Hongjoong...
