"Our destiny"

Ch. 1

The night, as a couple was fighting, a silent night went to chaos. They were fighting again because Bae thought Irys was cheating, they've been arguing for about 4 hours.

Bae: YOU CHEATER!

Irys: Bae I promise I didn't cheat!! She's a friend!! Please believe me...

Bae: Irys.. Were done for. Go back to your girl.. I guess, I wasn't "enough" for you.

Irys: Bae please, let me explain, please give me one chance!

Bae: Irys, shut up. I don't wanna hear your voice and see your face any longer, I had it with you.

Irys stared at Bae as she left, off to go to  her lawyer and ask for divorce papers.
This would be the last night with Bae.

Irys' thoughts: My fault.. Again..

Days later, the two finally got divorced. As they went on their separate ways.
Irys said her first and yet last goodbye to Bae, not even a word has been spoken by Bae, just, silence.
And that's it, the cutest couple everyone said is long gone, been a few years, Irys got a new job in a café, Bae works at a small restaurant as her new job.

But even of how they got a new life to start with, that "event" still remains in their minds, they can't let go of it.

Irys just got home from work, now preparing food, but of course, she's living with her "friend". Not actually a friend, "Ina" Irys' College best friend, is basically her new "partner". Their relationship turned out smooth and great, not like how Bae and Irys' relationship turned out to be.
They're not married yet, just girlfriends.

Irys helped Ina by preparing coffee. Irys can't really cook, so Ina has been teaching her, like how her "last" partner did.

And then, more years afterwards.

Bae decided to go to the bar with her new "partner". Not really partner. The guy forced Bae to date him. His name is "Jason". A popular guy, only because he looked handsome. But in reality, he's just a piece of shit.
He's only been using Bae's body. Nothing else. He will sometimes order Bae to do something, and the rat couldn't do anything, if she didn't follow his orders, she'll be killed.

So, arriving at the bar. The two sat and ordered drinks. Bae doesn't look so happy.
Until.... Irys was surprisingly there too, she stared at her a moment there.

Jason: Bae!

Bae: Eh! Oh sorry-..

Jason: Who you staring at huh!?

Bae: No one, no one..

Jason looked, angry. He doesn't like Bae staring at people, Bae should only look up and depend on him.
The drinks was done and was given to them.
30 minutes in the bar, they both got super drunk, only Jason could move, but can't think of is very dizzy.
Jason then left Bae by accident.
The rat fell on the table because of her little drunk self.

Irys and Ina was drunk too, exactly like Bae and Jason is. Irys walked up to Bae, of course, she doesn't know what she was doing. Ina went to the bathroom, so Irys was left for awhile.
Irys looked at Bae, looking at a familiar face.
Irys then accidentally kissed Bae, and yes, Bae was cool with it because of how drunk she was is at the same situation. The two deepened the kiss, until Ina came, and saw Irys, she decided to just join the "fun".

--------------------- The next day...

Ina woke up first seeing the Bae and Irys there cuddling with her.
She forgot what happened, until, she remembered that she also not only hooked up with Irys, but also a random stranger. She panicked and tend to wake Irys up.
She shook Irys to hopefully make her wake up.

Irys: Mmmmm.... Ina.. It's too early... Go back to sleep..

Ina: Wake up!!!

Bae: What's all the noise there dumhead....

Irys went silent in the moment until she recognized the familiar voice, she immediately got up.

Irys: I-...

She stared at Bae, almost with tears in her eyes, then Bae woke up suddenly, and saw the familiar face, she didn't recognize.

Bae: I'm sorry!! Please don't hurt me!

Bae was too traumatized being with Jason, she accidentally said those words.

Irys: Bae.... Come here, I won't hurt you..

Bae then noticed, and faced her.

Bae: Irys....?

Ina: Irys you know her?

Irys tried to give Bae a hug, but then Bae pushed her aways.
Bae started realising what she has done, and if Jason knows about this, she's dead for sure.
Bae started to panick and breathe heavily and faster.

Irys: I'll explain later Ina, but Bae, are you ok!? What's wrong?

Bae: I-... I'm gonna die am I?

Irys: Bae what are you saying!?

Irys was confused and doesn't know anything about why Bae is saying this.

Irys: You know what, Ina, honey, can you please prepare breakfast? I'll be out there, I just need to talk to Bae for a bit.

Ina: Ok then

Ina headed out of the room, leaving Bae and Irys there alone.

Irys: Bae, could you please explain??

Bae didn't answer a word, until she started crying and fell to Irys chest, the nephilim hugs her back hopefully to cheer her up.

Irys: Look, Bae, if it's what happened las-

Bae: It's not that..

Irys: Then what is it? C'mon Bae, you can tell me anything, I'll try to help

Everything was silent for a moment back there until Bae finally spoke up again

Bae: It's because.. There's my new "partner", but he's not exactly my partner..

Irys: What do you mean??

Bae: Look! He's not my boyfriend, he forced me to be with him.... He's been using me because of my body....

Irys:.... What's his name?...

Bae: Jason..

Irys: So what do you mean by your gonna die?..

Bae: If I tell anyone about this... Or do anything he doesn't want me to do, I'll be killed..

Irys looks away feeling bad for Bae, but in the same time, has the feeling to kill him. Irys calms herself down.

Irys: Shhhh... It's ok, your safe, he won't get you until he passes me...

The nephilim smiled at Bae and gave her a pat to cheer her up.
Ina just finished preparing breakfast and called out for the two.
They all sat down on a chair and started eating.

Ina: So, I need an explanation.m. On who she is, and who she is to you.

Irys was too insecure she might make Bae sad again about the past.

Irys: Bae, is it ok to speak it up?

Bae: Sure..

The three was quiet for a bit until Irys is read to finally explain.

Irys: This is no stranger to me.. Her name is Hakos Baelz... And, she is..

Ina: She's?

Irys: my ex-wife

Ina: WHAT!?
