LIAM was always a strong person... there wasn't many things that bothered him.
But he couldn't stay there anymore.
He couldn't be around her anymore without kissing her or touching her.
It was harder than he thought it would be if God was to let him see Rose again.
Although he had no idea he would get to see her tonight, he wished it could have been in a completely different situation.
He wished she wasn't with his friend Marc or with any one else for that matter but now she has forgotten him. And he couldn't be that selfish either. So he promised himself he would act like he didn't know her and let her be happy. Because she deserved it.

"I need to get going" -Liam said to Marc. "Thank you for having me"

They shaked hands and hugged each other.

"Thank for coming man, it was great seeing you"

Rose tried not to look at Liam but she couldn't help it. She didn't want to be around him but she also felt sad because he was leaving. She knew for sure that she won't get another chance to see him again or so she thought.

"Rose's birthday is in a couple of weeks and we are planning a party for her" Marc said smiling and looking at his girlfriend. "She's turning 21 and me and her family wants to make it special for her"
Marc hold on to Rose's waist and pull her close to him while still looking at her.
And of course Liam knew that. Liam remembered Rose's birthday and every year he would buy a single red rose to remember her.

"Oh thats nice" -Liam answered.

"Would you like to join us? I will send you the information tomorrow.. if you want of course" - Marc told Both Liam and Rose.

"Of course. I would love to come by."

"Its going to be a simple get together because here Rose doesn't like big parties"

Liam chuckled.
He knew she didn't like all the attention on her. She was the most down to earth girl he has every met. She hasn't change, he thought.

"We would understand if you didn't come or if a small get together is not what you are used too... Mr Hayes..." Rose said certainly being sarcastic.

And Liam could hear it in her words.
She was trying to hurt him in any way possible. Even if it was with just her words.
But Liam wasn't going to let her win.

"You're a funny girl Ms. Rose. Send me the information tomorrow." -He said turning to Marc.

"I will."

"Have a great evening both of you"
And with that Liam went home. Or he thought of going home until his brother called him. It was pretty late so he wondered if something happened.

"Hello"

"Heyyyyyy bro"-Ayden said on the phone. He sounded drunk.

"Whats going on? Where are you? And are you drunk again???"-Liam asked a little frustrated but worried.

"Chill bro. I might be younger than you but I'm old enough to do my own thing."

Liam began getting even more frustrated with his brother. It wasn't the first time he got drunk at a bar and picked fights with some random guy. And Liam knew tonight was no exception.
Ayden was 21 but he acted like he was 12.
Liam was tired and wanted to go home. And even if he didn't want to admit it, he wanted to be in bed so he can think about Rose and how gorgeous she looked today.

"Where the fuck are you Ayden!" Liam yelled through the phone.

"Uhm I'm at the 'Midnight bar'.. Can you come get me? I have no idea where I parked my car and these fuckers kicked me out"

Liam sighed.

"Stay where you are.. I'll be there in 10mins"

Once Liam got there, he looked around for his brother without any luck.

"Damn it. Where is this guy?"

He walked around the building but couldn't find Ayden.
Liam thought to go in side but they knew he was Ayden's brother and he wasn't sure what Ayden did and how they would react when they see him.
Liam wasn't afraid of no one though. He learned to fight at a pretty young age and did underground fighting for a long time. No one knew. Not even Rose. He wasn't proud of it but he loved fighting. It was his way of forgetting everything he went through.

"Fuck it"

Liam started walking inside and immediately spotted his brother, ready to fight with someone. Ayden knew how to fight too. Liam taught him. But Liam did not what his brother fighting in the state he was in. He saw the guy throw the first punch at his brother and Ayden threw the next punch making the guy go down.

"Ayden stop.. lets go" -Liam said once he reached over to his brother.

Liam pushed Ayden out before the guy could get up. Once they reached the car, Liam help his brother in the passenger seat.

Liam started driving to his house. He didn't want his mother to see Ayden in this state so he'd rather let him sleep at his house for the night.

Ayden looked at Liam. He knew his brother was pissed at him but he was grateful that his brother came to get him. He loved his big brother and he was grateful for all he did for him. After their father's death, Liam took the role of a parent in both his and their younger sister's life. Ayden missed his dad. He wasn't the best dad in the world but they were very close. Closer than Liam was with their father. Their mother always said that Ayden got his father's personality.

As they were getting closer to Liam's house, Ayden decided to say something to his brother.

"Thank you for getting me"

No response from Liam. He was pissed off at his brother because he knew better. He needs to stop because one of these days he's gonna get seriously hurt.

Ayden looked at his brother when he didn't answer him.

"So you're just not gonna talk to me?"

Liam didn't even bother. He was tired and wanted to go to bed.

"If your mad at me, why did you come for me then?"

"Shut the hell up Ayden. This is ridiculous. You are a grown ass man and this needs to stop now! You're gonna get yourself killed and mother doesn't deserve this and you know it!"

Neither of them said anything else. After some minutes they pulled up in the drive way of Liam's house.

Liam had to help Ayden inside and into the guest bedroom. And after went to his own room and took a shower. He was finally home. This day has been so damn long and he was tired. The best part of his day was seeing her. And to think he didn't want to go to Marc's house at first.

Maybe this year he could give her the rose instead of just buying it for himself. But it was her 21th birthday. He wanted to have something else too. Something special.

Something she could have forever with her and that reminded her of him even though they couldn't be together anymore.

He went to sleep with Rose on his mind.
