"Why do you have to be such a jealous girlfriend?!""Why do you have to be such a bad boyfriend?!"
"I've done everything for you Amera! How do you not see that?!"
"No, you haven't Mason! you may think you have, but you haven't!"
"Okay so break up with me!"
"Fine! We're over!"
*Writers note: Ik, cringy right?*
Okay, okay. Let's back up.
My name is Isabella, Bella for short. I'm a sophomore and no one really knows my name.
It's the last day of school and I'm not excited for this summer. I've finally got the perfect beach body and hopefully someone, anyone will notice me. But it's probably gonna go to waste.
Not that I'm ready for a relationship, but acknowledgement would be nice.
Mason is the one all the girls drool over. He's a preppy, self-centered Junior and they just want a good time.
I want Nick to notice me. Nick is in my year, he's also a liar and a cheater. We've recently broken up after he slept with his apparent girl best friend, Krissy.
I shouldn't want him to notice me. But, he's the only person who has made me feel noticed these first two years of high school. How am I supposed to get through the last two without the safety of him?
My best friend, Julie, ran up to me during lunch. Interrupting my deep thoughts. Full of energy..as usual.
"Did you hear Mason and Amera's fight in the halls before third period?!"
"Yes." I said with no emotion. That kind of drama just doesn't amuse me.
"Well, it's all over school", she added as she opened her milk jug.
Of course Julie would know, she's becoming popular now. Glad one of us made it.
After lunch, the day went on pretty normal. Of course, kids were extra jittery to get out of here and get their summer planned.
Finally, eighth period rolled around. It's felt like forever. Possibly because I'm staring at the clock, watching every second tick by. As I sat in a very boring AP psychology class, I drifted off.
Good thing I'm a light sleeper, I heard the bell ring and everyone was eager to get out of there. I decided to stay behind to avoid the crowds. As the halls calmed down, I made my way to the doors and pushed them open finally feeling the sun on my skin after a long day.
I'm outta here.
These first few chapters may be kinda iffy. I'm getting so many new ideas pop up and I'm trying to add them to the story.
I'm new to this! But I hope you like it so far! I'm going to be posting one a week on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Have a good day <3
