° Alice's point of view °

As soon as we reached land I was given a weapon so I could fight. "N-now why would you need that Alice's? A-a lady s-shouldn't fight." Eustace said, I looked at the knife. " I turned around to see Edmund walking up behind me. "Aile?" "Well ya. You look like an Alie so... ya." I couldn't help but laugh. "Well, that's a first. I've been calling that." Lucy walked up to me

"Don't mind him. That's how he always is" I looked around. The town looked deserted. I started to follow the people in front of me as they head into the town. " I wonder what happened here?" "Something bad."

Edmund answered. I look down to see Reepicheep crawling up my leg and and sitting on my shoulder. "He seems quite worried about you." I looked at him confused. "Do you mean you Eustace? No... He seems more concerned about getting back to England but have a hard time believing that we will find the way back home from here." Reepicheep was smirking. "You know that's not what I meant. Didn't you see the expression on his face when you were given a dagger? It seems almost as if he didn't want you to get into a fight or injure yourself." I looked away. I truly wanted to believe he cared for me like that but this is Eustace we are talking about. he wouldn't care if I got hurt at all. "I'm sorry mr. Reepicheep, but I truly believe you're wrong. He does not care if I get hurt." Reepicheep gave an aggravated sigh. Then crawled off my shoulder. All of a sudden we all heard the sounds of bells ringing. Caspian and his bail where the sound was from but all that was there were some birds. " Reepicheep, stay here with Drinian's men and secure the place. We'll head on." Caspian said. He started walking up the staircase leading into the city. "If we don't come back by Dawn, send a party." "Yes your majesty." Reepicheep said. Walking through the city was very disturbing for me. seeing all these abandoned homes and not knowing what happened give me a very bad feeling that we should not be here. but at the same time it feels like there is something that we needed to do that only we could. I looked over to see Eustace looking through a barricade window. He ran back to the group and said "yeah, looks like nobody is in. So do you think we should head back?" Edmund looked at Caspian Lucy and me then back to Eustace. "Do you think you can come over here and guard?" I asked him. "Ah, yes!!" he said, running over to us. "Good idea Alice! Very, uh... Logical. " Caspian walked over to him and gave him a knife. Eustace looked at it like it was the first time he had ever held a weapon before. "I'll guard with him." I said standing beside him. Caspian, Edmund, and Lucy all walked into the the large building. Eustace was constantly looking around. "Calm down Eustace, we're going to be fine." "Fine? Fine! I have no idea how you think we're going to be fine Alice?" all of the sudden I saw a man behind Eustace. "EUSTACE LOOK OUT!!" I screamed as if felt something covering my mouth. We were both being pulled into the large building Caspian, Edmund, and Lucy walked into. I thought the man quickly hit me in the head with a rock and I blacked out. The last thing I heard was Eustace screaming my name.

I awoke to see Lucy standing in a slave trade what something around her neck saying sold. "Alice... Alice are you okay!?" I heard someone whispering to me. I looked over to see Eustace but then he was quickly taken away. "And now! For this... fine specimen!" I saw that Eustace was standing where Lucy just was. "Who'll kick off the Bidding?" "Eustace!!" I screamed. One of the guards beside me slapped me very hard in the face to get me to stop talking. "Alice!!" I heard Eustace shout. someone grabbed his head and made him look the other way of me. "Come on now. He may not look like much but he's strong." "Yeah, he's strong, all right. Smells like the rear end of a Minotaur. " someone said in the crowd. "Tack that back!!" I shouted, getting again another slap in the face. " I'll take them off your hands." man said walking up to us. "I'll take them all off your hands. For Narnia!!" the man took off his hood revealing to be Reepicheep and Drinian. Some other people in the crowd took off their hoods review of the people from the ship. They started to fight the guards from the slave trade. Reepicheep ran up to me and Lucy and removed our handcuffs. "Thanks, Reep. I knew you'd come!" Lucy said. "Your Highness!" me and her both start to fight the guards I looked around but there was one problem. I couldn't find Eustace anywhere!?! I quickly looked around to see him running away from the fight. "Eustace. . ." I quickly got up and followed him. One of the guards ran after me trying to punch me I quickly blocked his attack and kicked him in the head. But something hit me hard and casa to go unconscious.
