Tony woke the next morning to the sound of Avery's shower running in the en suite across the room. He blinked through his sleep blurred vision trying to remember his surroundings. The memories of the night before slowly came back to him. "Avery," he whispered.
Hoping to catch the other man still showering, Tony kicked off the heavy black comforter and sat up. He looked around the room taking in all of the dark decors before remembering their clothes were probably still piled up in the yard from last night. "The swing." He smiled.
Dismounting the side of the queen size bed, Tony padded softly towards the door where the water was running. The door was left slightly ajar. Tony could see the steam wafting out through the tiny opening.
Pushing the door open a little more, Tony watched the blurry figure washing while sort of dancing around through a frosted glass shower door for a couple of minutes before "Ahem. Ah, good morning." He hated to interrupt the scene before him, but he felt like a creeper just spying on the other man unannounced.
"Shit" Tony heard the nearly inaudible expression of surprise. "Ah hey. G'mornin." Avery offered from the other side of the glass, turning to face the shower door. "How'd you sleep?"
"Great. Care if I join you?"
"Nah." Avery permitted. "Grab a towel from under the sink."
Tony slid the shower door open to see all of Avery. His eyes investigated the specimen in his entirety, in the light for the first time. His smooth milky white skin was slightly distorted with the beads of water droplets resting in some places, in other areas, suds and water ran down into the creases and valleys of Avery's smallish but well-defined chest and abs.
Avery felt himself shrink under the intense gaze from Tony's soft brown eyes as he moved to make room under the running shower for the bigger man. Their bodies almost touching, Avery forced himself to look up at Tony.
"Mornin." he said again trying to shed the discomfort of his obvious vulnerability.
"Good morning." Tony responded, his smile stretching across his face. "Last night was amazing."
