You were sitting on the floor of your bathroom holding 8 positive pregnancy tests. ( See what I did there 8 😋) You and Drew were married for a little more than a year. You didn't know how to tell him since the Kings were in the second round of the playoffs. So you called (y/f/n) she always knew what to do. You then dialed (y/f/n) number and she picked up. " Hey Y/N how are you." " Oh I'm good." " Really you don't sound good." " Well Y/F/N I just found out that I'm pregnant." " Oh my god that's great have you told Drew." "Well that's what I was gonna ask you how should I tell him." " Oh um maybe by making a card followed by little kid skates." " Oh my god thank you Y/F/N for that." " Well I am your best friend." " Ok well bye Y/F/N." You then grabbed your purse and keys and went out to get a card and mini skates. When you got home Drew wasn't still home yet. So you then went and got tissue paper you had and wrapped the skates in a box. You then put the box on your bed. You then went to sit down on your guy's couch watching the St. Louis Blues vs Chicago Blackhawks game. In the middle of a Patrick Kane breakaway which was stopped by Elliot. Drew came back from practice for the game against Nashville tomorrow. "Hey Babe how are you." He said while you went up and walked over to peck him on the lips. " Good you." "Good." He then went upstairs to your bedroom and you followed. You walked in watching him looking at the box. " What's this babe." " I don't know maybe you should open it." You had a real stupid smile on your face and he was confused out of this mind. "Ok." He said a little bit nervous. " He opened and when he saw the skates he had a really confused face. He then saw the card, reached for it and started reading it. After he finished the card he had a wide smile and turned around to. "You're." You finished his sentence. "Yes I'm pregnant." He then went over to you and knelt down to kiss your stomach. he then whispered to your stomach " I'm gonna be you're daddy little one." You then started laughing happily. He then stood up and kissed you passionately. He pulled away and said " I love you Y/N." " I love you too Drew.
