Ethan (Gold) POV

"Ethan~!!! Rose~!!! Breakfast!" I heard my mother shouted our names. My little sister and my rooms were across from on another so we both walked out at the same time but she seem more tired then ever! I was so excited that today Green, Red and I can pick our starter Pokemon! Yes I'm ten. Rose was nine.

I was wearing my clothes already but Rose still had her pjs on. She had brown hair with brown eyes. She looks like dad. I thought with a small smile. He left when she was four when he did. She didn't remember him but mom and I did.
When we came down talking about the Pokemon. I looked like mom though. "Looks like you are finally awake!" A voice sneered. "G-Green?! R-Red?!!!!!" I said in alarmed. Rose looked shock as well.

"They are eating with us since their parents are busy today!" Our mother smiled. "You four better be good for the rest of the day. Good bye dears!" Mom said and dashed out of the door.

Red couldn't help but laugh from the lipstick mom left when she kissed me goodbye. I took off the lipstick and we say down. "So this is your little sister huh?" Green asked. I nodded. Rose smiled and slightly waved.

"Where's Ash and Gary?" I asked and Red did a count down from three to one. BAM!!! There goes our door. Gary and Ash appeared fighting again. We all started to crack up.

After a while we all sat down and started to eat. "You three seem really happy to leave our parents and us!" Ash said not so happy. "Of course we aren't happy about leaving you guys behind!" I said almost choking on my juice when he said that.

"When we meet one day we will battle you three!" Rose said with confidence. We laughed. We stood up and Red and I did the dishes while Green started to teach the three about Pokemon.

"Ethan, what are you gonna give Rose when you leave?" Red asked without looking down. "Hmmm... I really don't know. What about you?" I asked. "I'm giving Ash my hat," Red said while flicking his hat up. "And Green is giving Gary one of his amulets that contain healing powers," he finished.

"I'll give her my Riolu!" I said with a small smile. "Are you sure about that? Your dad gave you Riolu before he left..." He said but whispered the part about my father. I shrugged not caring.

After cleaning Green, Red and I got our gifts and told them to wait in the living room. When we got halfway down the steps we stopped and listened to our little siblings.

"Wow!!! I never thought an Eevee could come out of a card!!!" Ash shouted super shocked. "It likes you, Gary!" Rose said squealing. Don't tell me that dad's Eevee got out of its poke all!!!! I thought with fear.

Eevee was our dad Pokemon. He left it for one day it chooses its not trainer. And it picked Gary! We gave them the gifts and we dashed outside when Professor Oak called us. The three little siblings waved at us saying good luck.

"Now choose your Pokemon!" Prof. Oak said with a big grin. Red picked charmander, Green picked squirtle but Prof. Oak gave me a different fire type Pokemon starter. It was cyndaquil! Red and Green were shocked as well.

"No time to explain. Go and complete the pokedex! Have a great day!" Oak said and we dashed off to Route 1. I took a deep breath in and stepped into the tall grass with Green and Red, ready to become the Pokemon Master! For Rose, Mom and everyone else!
