We're going on an overnight field trip? WHAT?! It's gonna take a day to get to this museum where we'll be staying. There's a rumor that there are SNAKES there. Sounds freakin deakin amayzing! (yes dat is a word i use XD) So, we're assigned a buddy to go on the bus with. We're not 5, geez! Well, I kinda want Melvin to be my buddy, but our reputation would be DESTROYED by Zoe and Maria. I do hope that I get another Harvey Girl though. "Dot and Richie, Lucretia and Fredo, Pinkeye and Ashley, Melvin and Audrey, Tiny and FruFru, and finally, Lotta and Gerald." I feigned being annoyed. "I have to partner up with HIM?" I said. Light dawned in his eyes as he played along, crossing his arms. "Yeah, for once I agree with you." "Well, deal with it."
TIME SKIP TO THE BUS (im lazy mkay?)
Melvin's POV
"So, hi, SMELLVIN. I know this sounds random, but I have a would-you-rather question for you." "Okay?" I said, more of a question than a statement. "Would you rather take part in a flash mob or..." Her turquoise eyes flicked towards mine, and quickly away again. "Kiss your crush." "Second option, I guess. I HATE dancing, especially in public. "I'd choose the first, because I love to dance, and also, it sounds cool." "Huh, it does kinda sound cool, but still." She shrugged, putting her earphones in. A notification pinged on my phone. It read;

I clicked accept, and can you guess the song that played? It was Never Gonna Give You Up. I groaned. "How could I, the prank master, be pranked? Especially by a rickroll!" She cackled. "Well, THAT was easier than I thought." I frowned. "HaHA, Smellvin." "Would you stop? If you don't stop, I'll call you Carrots." "Why Carrots?" "Why not?" "Fine, only cuz I'll never stop calling you Smellvin." "Ugh, FINE, CARROTS." She punched me lightly on the shoulder. I looked out the window, avoiding eye contact for fear of blushing.
Audrey's POV
I wish we didn't have to keep us a secret. Maye we SHOULD tell everybody. I looked away from Melvin, tucking my knees under my chin. Dot gave me a sympathetic glance, and Lotta was crushing on Gerald too hard, so she didn't notice. I sent a group text to them, saying;
Audrey:HELPGUYS SHOULD I TELL EVERYONE?!
Dot: Wdym
Audrey: about MELVIN! and ME! Zoe and Maria are gonna tease us like heck
Lotta: It's okay for you to share your feelings to the world!
Audrey: Easy for you to say u and Gerald don't have a reputation 4 being enemies
Dot: I thought u did a truce back in 3rd grade....
Audrey: That doesnt mean we were gonna be friends Or more than that!
Dot: True that.
Lotta: Just talk to him and maybe everyone will think ur just friends maybe
Audrey: Idk abt that
Dot: I bet the Bloogey's are having the exact same convo rn
