Chapter 11: awakening

Yoku's eyes fluttured open, white lights were blinding her and she put her hand up, blocking the light from flashing her, se looked around and saw Momo sleeping on the bed at the opposite side of the room, she smiled softly, she sat up and looked around: it was night outside and she was in a hospital bedroom,

"(What happened? All i remember was being at the USJ and...that's it...)"

she then looked at the sleeping Momo beside her, she sighed and smiled softly, she used one of her spell as she got up and floated in Momo's bed: "Salutem tibi affero praemium ex lilith (i bring health to thee as a reward from lilith)" she healed Momo, even tho he wasn't in a really bad condition as he was already offered good help from the dovtors and recovery girl, he only had some bruises and some internal damage, nothing major tho. She snuggled on his chest putting her right hand where is heart was to make sure that he was alive and well, even if everything was still blurry in her mind, she certain that Momo's life was in danger.

"(I have to get stronger, for him, for us...I was too careless and you got hurt, because i was too weak...I love you Momo, and that means i have to be strong enough to protect both of us, I know you want to be the one to protect me and that only, gives me even more reason to love you: my knight in shining armor)" she then fell asleep shortly after she changed position, she was on her back with Momo on her, his head in her chest.

The next morning, Momo started to wake up:

"mhmmmm (what is this? it's not the pillows from the beds...it's comfy~)" he thought moving his head from left to right "(this heartbeat sound is really smoothing... a heartbeat sound?)" he loked up to be met with the face of Yoku looking at him,

"ahhh~ S-so early in the morning? My My~ how bold of you Mo-kun~"

"Yoku! Are you alright!? Does it hurt anywhere!?Hang on I'll call the doctor!"

he tried to get up only for Yoku to yank his hands up making him fall on her

"Yok-mmph!"

she brought her left hand to his head and her right to his back and hugged him tightly,

"Damme~ I want the both of us to stay like this, we're good hee aren't we? All alone? Just the both of us? I always wanted to do it in a hospital~"

Momo blushed but managed to stand again trapping his girlfriend under him with his hands on both sides of her head,

"P-Please Yoku...this is serious..."

"..." she smiled and gave him a tender look "Hai~ i'm alright my knight in shining armor"

"You know you really scared me out there, please don't pull something like this on me again...I... I know that you are far stronger than me, but seeing you like this...I couldn't help but worry for your health..." she just looked at him with her big round eyes, her eyes were of a beautifull emerald green, they were so beautifull that Momo almost lost himself in them, wether it be now or the first time they met.

"I can't help but worry about you... I want to protect you, not as a hero but as YOUR hero, I know I'm not that strong but I want to be the one to protect you when you protect others..." Momo started to cry

"heroes always help people, but who help them? Who is there when a hero needs help?" Momo looked at her in shock " In this dangerous world we'll have only our family and friends to help us, but we never know when they will disappear from our lives, because it WILL happen one day, i just hope that ... only the death brought the years spent together will do us part and for that to happen we have to be stronger...so..." she then brought her right hand to Momo's face that leaned in her touch, she also started to cry, "let's both get stronger from now on and have each other's back... ne?" she gave him her sweetest smile and Momo kissed her deeply and Yoku accepted it with pleasure.

"Yeah...*sniff* Let's have each other's back..."

Aizawa was listening to their entire conversation, leaned against the wall near the door to their room, "(Yaoyorozu...)" he smiled "(take care of her for me problem child...)"
