It was five in the morning and I was getting ready for work, I didn't want to be late with the chance of getting fired. I was about to leave for work and remembered to feed my cats, I walk over to the cat food and put some in their food bowls. I looked the door, and walked to the parking garage, I unlocked my door and drove off to work. For a Tuesday it was surprisingly nice, not much traffic to see in my view.
I get to work and as I walk in I see a long line compared to the day before. I go to my cash register and was getting people's orders done like the flash. When brake came around I took a long breather but I wasn't long enough. ' one more hour and I'm done for the day' I told myself, but I didn't help. When brake came around I just felt a strange tingling all over my body. I walked out of the brake room and still felt the tingling! I went back to my cash register and the first person I saw that walked right over to me was, Kai. I was surprised because when she said ' see you around,' I thought she ment like, the park, or the supermarket. She smiled at me while I was just staring into my thoughts, I noticed and cleared my throat, " sorry," I said, " uh, may I take your order 'ma'am'" I said awkwardly. " I'll get my normal order," Kai said with a wink. I lightly chuckle and gave her her ' normal' order.
A kind woman then walked up to my cashier and saw that she had a name tag that said in German, "heiraten" ( Marry) I then said, "Guten Morgen, was darf ich Ihnen heute bringen, Ma'am?"(good morning, what may I get you ma'am) She smiled sweetly and said, " Hallo, ich hätte gerne einen Milchcremekaffee und einen Schokoladenkeks." (hello I would like a milk cream coffe and a chocolate chip cookie) I nodded smiling and put in her order. I then tell her, "Ihre Bestellung ist fast fertig. Ist das dein erstes Mal hier?"(
You're order is almost ready. Is this your first-time here?) She nodded and then said, " Mein Sohn heiratet tatsächlich hier draußen, er sagte, das Café deines Typen ist das beste der Stadt."(My son is actually getting married out here, he said your guy's cafe is the best in town.) I chuckle and handed her order and she walked out with a big smile.
