Ashen age 10 P.O.V

"ASHEN?" hide and seek was our favorite game in the world! My cousins amd I would always play when we see each other. I love my name, I'm a straight A+ student, on honor role, you know all the good stuff! I'm even getting to go to higher grades for classes! I would never do drugs, steal, beat up anyone!

Ashen age 15 P.O.V

Holy cow who knew this could be amazing!? Getting High, doing drugs. My God this rocks. Just last week I beat up my dealer and for charging me extra HECK I could have shot him! I could if I wanted to, too. I started drinking vodka, beer, grasshopers, wine, Tokyo Iced Tea, Four Loko,Headhunter, and Moonshine. You name it I'll do it! My f3iend been hooking me up with everything we can do! I'm going to drop out of school, I WANT TO!

Ashen age 16 P.O.V

All I can see is white, all i can hear are people's voices, all i can feel... is nothing. I've been keeping a secret from Ashley she knew bout the drinking, but never the drugs I been steal/ doing. All I can remember is talking to Nikki, and then passing out. I can't believe I might die from doing all that shiz. My God I can hear Nikki crying yelling hiw could could I do this, how she loves me, and how she doesn't want me to die. Silence has washed over I can't hear anything, I can't see anything just darkness, but this time I can feel. I can feel the cold air hitting my skin.

It must have been a few hours that passed by. I hear someone say

"If you can hear us lift your finger, if you can hear me lift your finger."

I tryed my hardest to lift my finger, I could hear them I can hear them.

"I don't think he can hear us."

I can hear you, I can, I CAN HEAR YOU.

"Doctor, LOOK!"

I can feel someones hand, their hand was rough, hard it must have been the doctors.

Ashen age 16 P.O.V

Ashley and I have been talking again, she likes this weirdo, I didn't listen. I been in rehab for almost a year. I finally get to see my birthday, outside of rehab, I'm changing my name to Asher. Ashen reminds me of the old me. I know it's only 1 letter but, hey I still like to drink I know I can do better anyway. All I need is to see Ashley outside of my past. I want to kiss Nikki once again, last time I saw her was in the hospital, they said she got hit by a car and broke her leg, but now I can see her again! Hold her, kiss her, love her once again with the new me. Make a whole new life with Nikki.

Ashen age 17 P.O.V

Last year was Nikki's funeral of as she use to say Fun-eral. I found out the truth. She gave me her organs so I could start a new life. I bought her, her favorite flowers, dye rainbow flowers. I placed them on her coffin, no tears came out I cryed all the way over here. I'm too tired to cry. I walked up to her picture kissed it and said:

"Her favorite line was Okay? Okay. Always? Always. Our Always was You? You. We always said "I love You? Yes You." She was there for me always. And now I say 'I messed up, I know you would want me to move on. I will, but I will always come and say You.'"
