"It's time," said the queen of spirits.
"Ok, but are you sure we should open it?" The king asked, as he thought about how much work he would have to put in, so that they understand.
"We have to do it now, we have no choice." the queen responded, then she started muttering to herself. "If we don't, she will only get worse."
"What did you say?" The king asked,
"Nothing" she quickly answered. Meanwhile Fey was in bed clutching her stomach. She had light brown hair going an inch past her shoulders, with bright shiny emerald, green eyes. She had a slightly tanned skin, due to her Hispanic dad. She was on her right side curled up, and the bed blankets were pushed aside.
Her mouth is wide open, but barely letting out a sound, as a lone tear strolled off her face. Then her pain receded just as soon as it came. She let out a sigh of relief, still fearing that it would come back. She laid there waiting to see if it was coming back.
"I feel so mad that we can't help her, when will they open it?!" A spirit said to another.
"But it will hurt her the most when we open the gate," said another.

The king started to head to the place where the bridge was the shortest. With the queen of spirits alongside him. Many people followed to see the momentous day. Although most of them were royals. There were also many spirits that followed close behind.
Not many people can see spirits unless they are contracted to them. But there are special people who are born with extra mana and are able to sense the spirits in a way. The king was one of them. Just in case you don't know what mana means, it's basically magic power. When he stopped and started to prepare the gate, instead of seeing hundreds of people, he saw thousands of people. He started to draw a magic circle with the queen. As soon as he was done, he sat in the middle of the circle.
He started using a magic so old no one but him and a couple spirits know. He had been taught this kind of magic by the spirit queen herself. He took mana from the spirits and the people. To break a hole between two worlds you would need so much mana, that people haven't even considered it. As he starts to break open the gate Fey felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

As the king made a hole, magic came rushing into earth. It was so powerful it was like a tsunami. Most of the people on earth would only feel a slight nausea, but Fey felt it as it is a powerful tsunami. Her knees buckled and she fell, but she used her hand to stop the fall. She gets onto her knees feeling a sharp, immense pain. It was so much more painful than all the other times, that she immediately had tears running down her face.
As her dog started to approach her, she begged, she asked whoever was out there to help, she begged, and begged. All the spirits on earth rushed to see her, even if they could not help her with healing magic. Even when Fey was begging for help, the spirits could still do nothing. Earth has no magic, so the spirits there can't use magic until the gate is fully open.
But as the gate got wider, Fey's pain grew more immense. She started to scream, her voice growing louder and louder. It felt as if the planet itself was crying out in pain. The scream then echoes into the other side of the gate.
The king hesitated, but the queen responded "It's the scream of our spirit mother planet, this gate was never meant to be opened. Our mother spirit is channeling her pain through a human girl." The king continued hesitantly.
Even with Fey's pain resistance she built up over the years couldn't hold up anymore, and she passed out. As soon as she passed out, the gate had gotten fully open. By then people from earth could tell something was wrong.
There was a beam of light that appeared in the middle of the land. Government people started to head towards the beam of light. The king passed through the gate. He knew full well that the people of this land would be confused, and he knew he had to give a lengthy explanation. He also knew he would be met with hostility, that's what any sane ruler would do.
As he went through the gate, he saw people with strange weapons. He assumed it was a weapon that they used here. "Who are you?" an official yelled to the king. "I am a king of another land; I wish to speak to your ruler."
