Fey Abella

 It's been five years since then, Fey turned thirteen this year. Ever since the gate was opened, she had been feeling better. Not good but much much better. But the world changed a lot too. Since magic also appeared on earth, then magical beings were born on earth as well. Monsters and demons. 

People also found it more practical to carry swords instead of Guns, and missiles. A world council has been created as well. Now there are more and more people being invited to Halo Academy. Right now, in Ambrosia there is a meeting being held. 

In attendance is the king, the crown prince, the queen of spirits, and many high nobles from both humans and spirits. 

A human noble began "Spirit queen, have you yet to choose a bride for the crown prince" 

"There are not many maidens that I yet approve of" the queen responded.

 Then the king chimed in "I believe this is something that should be discussed among the three of us. Back to political matters" this meeting resumed for half an hour. Later the crown prince, the queen, and the king had a private meeting. 

"You said you don't have many you approve of. Meaning you have at least one or two." The crown prince said. 

"Why is it that you are trying to delay this spirit queen?" The king asked. 

"It's just that.... there is one girl, but I am reluctant to give her to you." The queen said hesitantly. "She is a pitiful girl, and we are responsible for her life. There was an.... accident, and she doesn't have the best of health. This accident was caused by us spirits. She has constant stomach pain, and nose bleeds. Although she has a considerable amount of mana, and she seems to be very promising in combat. But if you hurt her, I will be incredibly displeased." 

"May I ask her name," the king asked. 

"Fey Abella" the queen hesitantly said. Back on earth Fey is reading a four-inch fantasy book, during free time. In this class five minutes a day the teacher gives them social time. Though Fey isn't a social person, she is reading a fantasy book instead. 

She doesn't even have a friend in the class. That's why the end of the school is her favorite time. It's not what you may think, it's not her favorite because she doesn't have to be social. It's because she gets to see her only friend on the bus. 

Today she was going to hangout afterschool with Anna, her only friend. As they get to Anna's house, she goes to check the mailbox. While Fey started to head towards a deck. The deck was only a foot or two off the ground and was surrounded by trees. 

Though there were spots where the trees didn't block the sunlight. Fey could smell one of the neighbors cooking on the grill. The smell was brought to her from the small breeze running through the trees. The shadows of the trees shifted with the push of the wind. 

She sat down on one of the swinging chairs, but she started to space out thinking about how her fantasy book was going to end. Then a large moving shadow caught her eye, and Anna came into sight with the mail in her hand. 

"So, what do you want to do?" Fey asked, "I don't know, how about we... start watching that one show." Anna responded, looking through the mail. All of a sudden Anna's face lit up so brightly, and she started to poke fey with excitement in her eyes.

"Guess what, guess what" she quickly said. "What is it?" Fey said, a little annoyed. "I got a letter from Halo Academy!"
