As an apology for kidnapping the Kamisato Lady, Kazuha came with a Mondstadt sweet as a gift. This time, he used the front door instead of climbing through the wall. Ayaka invited him to talk over and he accepted the kind offer. Ayato joined along as he was on break from his work. Three of them had a conversation while having snacks and tea. Ayato only smiled at the sight of the youngsters caught up with each other lives. Kazuha spoke about the place he visited while Ayaka filled him about Inazuma in a few years. They even talked about Haiku with the seasonal theme.
Kamisato Ayato smirked. He must take this opportunity to tease both of them.
"Kaedehara Kazuha."
"Yes?"
"What do you think about saving your clan by getting married to my sister?"
"COUGH, COUGH, COUGH!"
Kazuha choked on his tea. He never expected Ayato to proclaim such a statement. Did he hear the wrong thing? Did he just get blessed by the head of the Kamisato family? Did he do something to get such approval? The poor young man was way too confused by Ayato's words.
"BROTHER!" Ayaka shouted with a flushed face. She stood up from her seat and pulled Kazuha away. "My brother must not feel well to speak such nonsense! Let's just go outside!"
Kazuha was still stunned when Ayaka dragged him out. Kamisato Ayato only laughed at their reaction. Whether they remained friends or became lovers was up to their decision. Ayato just helped them meet so they could rely on each other in future. Kazuha was always wandering and had little information regarding the state of Inazuma while Ayaka was coping in Kamisato's residence and had no idea about the outside world. They could cover each other weaknesses for the best.
Ayato sipped his tea, maybe he should make another elaborate poetry hunt for both of them.
