A/N: I just want all of you guys know that after this chapter, I may not be updating for a while. I promised that I will get back to Evangeline, another book I'm working on (BTW if you haven't already, feel free to read it and catch up.) Anyway for now until Evangeline is done, here is the last chapter of Smiles are Worth Dying for.

Michelle peered through the office window, checking to see if the strange man had come in. He had. Fortunately, the man never noticed the young girl's face pressed up against the window. He was busy tapping on a screen like he had done the previous night. She ducked quickly and crept down the hallway, careful not to make any loud noise. Michelle would sometimes hear metal squeaking, but thankfully they were far from her. At least, for now.

Michelle came across a room that was different from the others. It was filled with arcade machines, each one showing an animal picture on the sides. She got up from the floor and walked over to a 'white fox' arcade game. She wiggled the joystick and tapped furiously at the keys. Nothing happened. She walked over to a 'yellow chick' arcade game and tried to get it to work. Nothing popped up.

"Aww." She wined. "I wanna play." She maneuvered around the room, from game to game, trying to get at least one to work. Michelle stared at the black screen of a 'purple bunny' arcade game, in despair. Off the corner of her eye, she saw something. She jumped back in surprise only to see a little cupcake sitting calmly on the edge of the arcade game.

"Why hello, little cupcake." She giggled, picking up the blackened cupcake. "What's your name?" It stared blankly at the little girl. Michelle hugged the cupcake to her chest, smiling and dancing around.

"I think I will call you Mr. Cupcake." She said happily. "Do you like that?" She moved the cupcake up and down, signifying a 'nod'. Her grin widened and she cradled it in her arms.

"What's that, Mr. Cupcake?" Michelle said suddenly, acting like the cupcake was speaking to her. She raised the cupcake to her ear and listened closely.

"You want to go home?" She made the cupcake nod again. Michelle lowered it slowly from her ear and stared down at the plush cupcake. Tears weld in her eyes "Me two." She choked, the tears streaming down her cheek. She wiped her eyes and walked with the cupcake to the game room exit.

Michelle past a 'brown bear' arcade game and lightly touched the buttons. A static sound, blared from the arcade game, scaring the little girl. Michelle glanced back at it. Wires from inside the machine cracked, as they touched together, bringing life to the worn arcade game. The little girl watched in shock as the broken screen flickered and flashed white. The white screen disappeared and showed an image of a mauled bird with white eyes . It appeared to be engraved on the screen, adding an eerie feature to the image. Michelle backed away slowly, clutching the cupcake in her arms. Her body hit something hot and hard. She slowly turned around and came face to face with a burnt animatronic chicken. It resembled the scratched picture on the arcade screen, even sharing the same scars and streaks.

"AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" It howled, and jumped at Michelle. She couldn't move, nor scream as the charred animatronic, swiped a crippled hand at her. Michelle fell backwards, feeling no pain from the animatronic's attack. Her head fell with a bang on the tile floor, as well did the rest of her body. The cupcake that was in her hand, slowly rolled free from her palms as she lied their unconscious.

Metal footsteps neared the entrance of the game room, the limp animatronic waiting patiently for his friend to come out an play with him. The crippled figure stood in the doorway, his shadow loomed over the girl's body.

" P-l-e-a-s-e d-o-n'-t b-e a-s-l-e-e-p." The disembodied voice croaked sinisterly. He nudged the body with his foot, but the girl did not wake up. Springtrap narrowed his glassy eyes at the girl's unconscious body.

"D-o-n'-t y-o-u w-o-r-r-y , l-i-t-t-l-e o-n-e." He cooed, stroking her brown curls, passionately. His grin widened, his eyes fixated on the girl's pale face "I w-o-n'-t l-e-t s-l-e-e-p-i-n-g s-t-o-p u-s f-r-o-m h-a-v-i-n-g f-u-n."
