Rosie
It's been a few days since my migraine and thankfully I've gotten over it. It was awful, I've never had a migraine before.I've made a good amount of progress on Rocco's sweater and I've even been able to spend more time alone and with Matteo on my own.
I've learnt to be calm around Matteo, he is really sweet and I don't have much to worry about. He's actually had a few sleepovers since he came here drunk.
It's nice to have someone to talk to that isn't Rocco. Rocco is my best friend but I only really talk to him.
Rocco and Matteo walk off of the elevator and I wave at them from the kitchen.
"Having fun princess?" Matteo asks with a raised eyebrow as I sit at the stool.
"Lots." I smile up at him.
"Why are you knitting?" Matteo asks. "My grandmother doesn't even knit." He adds.
"That's because she's dead." Rocco fills in and my jaw drops. Fair enough.
"She's making me a sweater." Rocco says putting his arm around me.
"That's so adorable." Matteo says squeezing my cheek. Okay...
I'm starting to feel like everyone sees me as a child.
"Kiss?" Rocco asks and I nod. "Yeah." I say and he kisses my cheek.
"How was work?" I ask them, putting my knitting down.
"Boring." Matteo says sitting beside me.
"How come?" I ask.
"Because Jax has gone back to Brazil, leaving us with a Gio who has a stick so far up his ass you can see it when he talks." Matteo says and I laugh. See? He's funny.
"I should go and check in with my sister." Matteo says whilst typing on his phone.
"You have a sister?" I ask and he nods.
"Remember that girl that came round with Gio and hugged you? That's Matteo's twin sister." Rocco says and my eyes widen.
"Twins? That's so cool." I say and Matteo shrugs.
"She's the cool one, but don't tell her I said that." He says and I nod. "I won't." I smile.
"You hungry?" Rocco asks taking his arm off of me and stepping round to the other side of the island.
"Ooo what are you cooking?" Matteo asks and Rocco rolls his eyes and turns to me.
"I am." I say and he starts looking around.
"Can we have pasta?" I ask and he turns back to me.
"We always have pasta." He says and I shrug.
"It's so good." Pasta has to be my favourite meal, it's so yummy. If I had to choose between cake and pasta I think I'd cry. How can you even choose?
He looks conflicted and he looks from my eyes, to my body and then back to my eyes. He does that often. I don't know why but it's always when we talk about food.
"Pasta it is. You staying?" He asks Matteo.
"Absolutely." Matteo nods.
"Great, go get cake for after." He says and my eyes widen.
He is perfect, he literally just gets it.
Matteo groans but stands up and leaves regardless.
"Do you wanna help?" Rocco asks and I nod and slide off of the stool and head over to help him cook dinner.
