I have been going over my options, and I think I should go to high school again. It seems like a good idea since there is not much to do around here. I told my parents last week. They weren't very excited about the idea, but they thought it was fine for me to try. But I wasn't going to march around the school and tell everyone I'm smarter than them. Some things are better when they are kept secret. I was going to tell Hans my new idea. He also didn't seem very excited about the idea. "So you're going to pretend you're a normal person in high school?" he said when I told him. "Yeah, I think it's a good idea." I said. "Really? For someone as smart as you, that's not a very good idea." Hans said. I ignored him and went back to my room. Was this a bad idea? I don't know but I guess we will find out tomorrow. I don't know what these high kids were like. I knew they were around my age, there is also a very good chance for them to be shorter than me. But I reminded myself that it was going to be easy. Or at least I thought it would. I woke up feeling tired. I could not fall asleep last night. Today I will go into high school again. I did not want to go in a bus, so I took my car. It was a very bad idea. When I arrived at school, the kids were looking at me. I thought it was normal, so I didn't think much of it and went to park my car. But then I started thinking, why were those kids looking at me? Maybe it's because I'm new. As I walked into the school, I immediately got pulled to the side by a girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes. "Hi, so my name is Tanya and I'm, like the most popular girl in school. I've never seen you before, are you new here?" said the girl. She was talking really fast. But she was also being nice. Was everyone this nice in school. But she did say that she was the most popular girl, so she could be talking to me only because I have a Ferrari. She is so annoying. but I was going to pretend to be normal. "Yes, I'm new here, this is my first day." I said. Just as I finished talking, she immediately stopped being nice and started laughing like a crazy person. "Your voice sounds so weird! Just because you have a nice car and you're tall doesn't mean that everyone will like you." Tanya said. People are so mean here. Now all the boys were looking at me because they thought I was weird. A few seconds ago, they thought I looked pretty. Then I spotted Tom. He looked confused. "Why are you at school? I thought you graduated." Tom said. "I thought it would be a good idea, just don't tell anyone that I already graduated." I said. People don't seem to like my idea very much. "Maybe I'll tell everyone, maybe not." Tom said. I knew he was joking, but just to be on the safe side, I gave him a mean glare and walked away. I was starting not to like Tom. They are all mean here. I had to go to my first class. It was math, my favorite subject. As I was about to sit, the teacher said, "Hello class, this is our new student, and now she will introduce herself." Why did she have to say that in front of the whole class? Now Tanya was looking at me, laughing quietly. I stood up. I walked to the front of the classroom and started to speak. "Hi, my name is Hannah and I'm from-" Then Tanya stood up. "She's from somewhere where the freaks all go! she does look like it!" Tanya said. "Tanya, that was unnecessary. Hannah, you can sit down now." The teacher said. But I didn't sit down. Instead I decided to make a comeback. "You think I'm from somewhere where all the freaks go? Well I'm in this classroom, and you are too, so that makes you a freak. And you look more like a freak than I do." For a second, I saw Tanya's face get red with embarrassment. But she tried to hide it. "Class, please sit down." The teacher said. I sat down. "We will have a test. This test is the hardest test of the year, and Hannah, it might be harder for you because you're-" I interrupted her. "I can do a test as well as anyone else in this classroom, maybe even better." I said. She thinks I'm stupid because I have an accent. I'm probably smarter than her. The teacher looked at me, as if she thought I was lying. She started giving out papers. I raised my hand. "Yes Hannah, what is your question?" The teacher said. "I finished my test." I said. The teacher looked at me very surprised. "Did you really finish it? Did you double check your answers?" She asked. I nodded my head. She took my test, sat on her desk, and began to check my answers. When she looked at me her eyes were so wide I thought they would pop out. "You got a hundred percent! How did you do it so fast?" She said. I shrugged my shoulders. I was smiling on the inside. Now she sees that I'm smart. But I have to be normal around Tanya and her gang.
