A change no one expected

I was running as fast as I could. My breath was heavy and I felt like I was gonna die. I suddenly felt a horrible,painful feeling in my whole leg. Me and my girlfriend Lillian were running. I saw the tears drop from her gorgeous face and thought:,,Does it end here?".
The whole world just turned black and I didn't hear anything.. It was quiet and I couldn't feel a single thing.

„He's still breathing.. This guy right here is alive but the woman who protected him.. I think.. She's dead."
I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I was lying on the ground and I couldn't remember anything.
„He opened his eyes!", a guy with dark brown hair and glasses said.
„Oh?", a black haired guy looked at me and I tried to get up. I felt nothing but pain and fell to the ground.
„His leg is hurt... obviously", a blonde guy said who picked me up and looked at his friends.
„We should hurry up and get back to our base..", the brunette said.
„Uhm... excuse me.. But who the fuck are y'all?", I said in confusion. I was worried. There was not a single thing I understood.
„My name is George.. You shouldn't worry about this... just trust me. It's either you die or you trust us and survive", the brunette laughed.
„WHY THE FUCK IS HE LAUGHING!?",i thought.
„Mkay",i whispered.
It's either they help me or I die... maybe they'll explain everything to me... I just closed my eyes and started to think about some stuff..
„Hey you", the guy who had me on his shoulders said.
„Yeah..?", I responded.
„What is your name? Now that we're a team in some kind of way... it'd be nice if you'd tell us", the other guy asked.
„I am Quackity.. Alexis Quackity"
„Thats a weird name...", George giggled.
„Well Thanks i guess", I Said and then I realised something.. Where... where is Lillian?
„Uh.. George? Black-haired guy and tall blonde? Did you see a woman.. A woman with dark, black hair? She wore a purple dress and.. A-and she is a little bit taller than me"
„Oh... Her... And instead of black-haired guy you should call me Sapnap... She... Passed away. She looked like she protected you with her life."
My eyes started to get watery.
„What.. She is.. Was.. My girlfriend",i sighed. Tears slowly started to drop from my face.
„Oh no... what a poor guy... Hey Mate... everything will be fine okay?", George said. It was kinda nice to hear this.
„Yeah... Maybe you're right", I mumbled and we entered a building which still looked okay. It was pretty small and was more like a building for only two people. It was still looking really good from the inside.
„Were you prepared for all of this?", I asked. Everything looked so safe and I finally felt safe after some time. There were no zombies or anything else. It felt great. We went down some stairs and arrived in a basement. There were only some mattresses on the floor and there was a fridge and a shelf with some food. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing and dying alone, in pain... just like Lilian. „I miss her..", I accidentally whispered. „Pardon?- What did you say?", George asked while the guy who carried me on his shoulders put me on one of the mattresses.
„I'm gonna stay here with Alex. You and Sap can go and look for more survivors in this area. But please remember to drink something at first and maybe eat something.. We were out there for hours and only found Alexis. It will be very hard for us... I am very happy you and Sappy have weapons but I still don't have one.. Except for my Baseball bat. But it is very good for fighting.", the brunette kept going and then gave me a little smile.
„Okay Georgie! We'll come back. I promise.",the blonde guy said and grabbed a bottle of water. The guys shared it and then went outside.
„So... Were you guys prepared for this?", I asked while I looked at George.
„No... We weren't. Sapnap,Clay and I met online and really wanted to meet up. We just met 3 days ago at their house. Sadly all the stuff with the Zombieapocalypse happened and we all started hiding in their basement. I'm so glad I came here... We are searching for other survivors at the moment... like you. But it will be hard. We will probably have to move our location when we get more people than 8 because it isn't enough space for so many people...", he said. You could see a little bit of fear in his eyes. He looked kinda tired and just exhausted. I really missed Lillian. She was my everything. The love of my life... My home.
„Alex? Alexis? Are you listening?", I heard the soft voice of the brunette. I zoomed out or something.
„Sorry George... I didn't want to zoom out", I said.
„It's fine don't worry... all of this is just so... horrible and awful...", George said and got more quiet every word.
„Wait a minute! Is George tearing up!? I am so bad at comforting people please don't let him cryyy!", I thought.
Tears slowly dropped from his face and I just sat there. I didn't know what to do so I just looked at him.
„Hey Man.. what's up?", I asked and nervously looked at him.
„I-I.. I wish I knew..", he whispered through sobbs and a lot of tears.
„Can... I get a hug..?", he asked quietly and maybe even embarrassed.
„Yeah... Come here..", I said while I pulled him into my arms. I slowly rubbed my hand over his back and he laid his head on my shoulder. He was maybe taller than me but not that much taller.
„I really hope everything will be okay...", the brunette who was lying in my arms whispered. I wanted to agree but I didn't get a single word out of my mouth.
