"Hil, let me explain this to you." Demi said the next morning to Hil, who was getting ready for her shift that night.

"Explain what? Watch over the OCs, use a camera, I already know."

Demi ignored Hil's remark and began to explain everything she would need to know to survive. After 10 minutes of explaining, Hil's eyes were wide and her mouth gaped open.

"nerby will try and kill me?"

"If you don't let him watch mass, then yes."

Hil looked at her shirt that read "Hil AF" and below it had a picture of Nerby and herself. "Oh."

But disregarding that, Hil still went to work that night. Upon arriving at Strahberri's Berry Diner only 5 minutes early, Hil rushed to the office, scared that it could strike 12 at any moment. It did right when she sat down.

"Hello! It's Cynthia, calling back. I don't know if you are new or the same person, so I'll explain everything again, just in case. Check your cameras while I'm talking, though, so that Timpote or Misa don't get out and sneak up on ya. Remember, you need to make sure Nerby's TV doesn't go out, and always write down the guide words on your sketchbook paper, and make sure you don't run out of lead on your pencil or it breaks. Remember, Timpote's word is 'Lasagna', and Misa's is 'Stop'. Now, there are a couple new things here. Today, Kitty will get jittery. She lives in Kitty Cave, the room with the black curtains and glow in the dark cat face, yeah? She will peak out one step at a time, with her right eye-which is your left- covered. You can always see her if she is a teensy bit out, but with her hair covered. You want to watch her a lot, since when your camera is on the cave it slows down her movement. But one thing to watch out for-"

Cynthia paused for a second and Hil saw Timpote was in the dining area.

"if you see her with her eye uncovered, she's about to come to the office. She doesn't take her time in front of the window, she runs straight into the office. So when her eye is uncovered on the camera, you're out of luck. But there is a way to stop it. If she happens to get out, right when you see her eye uncovered and hair pushed back, be as quick as you can and write the word, 'No' on your paper. This will stop Kitty in her tracks, and she will sulk back into Kitty Cave."

Hil felt the urge to jot all this information on a piece of paper, but fought it, knowing it would waste time. She checked the cameras again and saw Kitty peeking out, Timpote in the hallway, Misa in the strawberry kitchen, and Berri the Strawberry Queen staring at the camera on the stage. Hil shivered and continued listening to the call.

"But anyway, just remember. Wind, check, no, stop, lasagna. Good night, and good luck!"

The call stopped and Hil was alone. A flashing red triangle came onto the camera screen, and she remembered to wind up Nerby's TV power. He smiled and Hil smiled back, but of course, Nerby's eyes were glued to the screen. Hil closed the camera only to see Timpote's steam punk goggles through the window. She scribbled "Lasagna" on her pad of paper and Timpote wrote "Bye! <3" before leaving. Hil breathed a sigh of relief and then wound up the TV power again. She skimmed through the cameras again, only to see a terrible sight.

Kitty's hair was pulled back. Her eye uncovered.

Hil closed the camera as fast as she could and wrote "No." On the paper. Kitty rushed into the office, only to stop in front of the paper. Kitty's eyes watered a bit, seeing the word, but then she put her hair back down and walked away. Hil blinked in confusion, wondering why Kitty had been close to crying. But her thought was interrupted by hearing a giggle. Misa was walking in the door, and Pomeus was behind her, pizza all ready!

Hil sprang out of her chair and grabbed the sketchbook. She quickly wrote "Stop" on it and held it up in front of her face. Misa and Pomeus walked away in silence. Hil looked at her digital clock and saw the time.

"It's only 3:45?" Hil thought to herself in shock. Rubbing her tired eyes, Hil yawned and opened the cameras again. Kitty in the Cave, Timmy in the kitchen, Misa in the dining room, and Nerby's TV wound up. Hil then closed the camera, only to be surprised by a figure sitting in front of her. It was a girl with strawberry blonde hair parted above her left ear, a flannel shirt, and a menacing look on her face. Hil shoved the camera in front of her face for protection, then peeked out. The figure was gone.

It was now 4 AM, and Hil was getting tireder by the millisecond. She had encountered Timpote another time, and Misa was now in the hallway. Hil then got an idea.

She wrote "Stop", "Lasagna", and "No." Each on separate pieces of paper from the sketchbook, and laid them out on the desk. Now, she could just hold them up in front of her when someone comes!

So that's what Hil did for the rest of the night. She held up the pre-written papers whenever an OC stepped into the office, and it was all good. Until 5:58.

Hil decided she would write some instructions for Ryan, whose shift was tomorrow night. But as she did, the pencil lead broke. Hil screamed as it did, knowing that certain death would be next.

All of the OCs came into the office, and Berri The Strawberry Queen held up a Belle the Border Collie Suit. But just as Pomeus raised his fist to throw pizza, the clock struck 6. The night was over, and Hil could leave. Finally.
