I've been miserable all year but this summer could change it all in cousins, Nicole will be there and I think she will cheer me up but I also will be happy to see Steven and maybe belly. Me and belly don't do much together but she's a sweet girl. I hope Steven or belly don't think of me differently since I started smoking and I quit football. But overall I'm ready for this summer.

*beep beep* "There here!" Mom said ecstatically. Jere was already running outside as I can see him hugging Steven. I walked outside and saw belly. She looks so beautiful, but different. "I liked you better with glasses" I said teasing her while she looked at me with her eyebrows frustrated. "Well I like me better without them" she snarled as a let out a silent chuckle. Jere and Steven walk to me and belly. "You know what time it is? It's time for a belly flop!" Steven says. We all chase belly and carry her. We bring her into the pool and throw her in. "I think I hurt my ankle" she says in pain. I reach out my hand to help her and then she yanks my arm and pulls me in. I knew this summer would be fun.

I knew my feelings were growing for belly, I felt my self shiver when she's around but it's not right we're just family friends she can't be more.

Tonight there is going to be the first bonfire. I'm pretty happy to be going to see Nicole, my girlfriend, but I'm afraid things would change since I haven't been feeling my best self. I'll just drink it off I guess.

Im pretty sad that belly isn't here but I get she's watching movies with the moms. The boys all go hang out with their girls and I go to Nicole. Me and nicole start talking then I drink a little. Me and nicole start making out but it doesn't feel the same. I keep on imagining somebody else. I hear somebody yell, I turn my head to see belly on the ground in a small dress. She looks pretty. She walks to me and nicole. "I thought you hated the red socks" belly says. "Who are you?" "I'm nicole, I went to the deb ball with Conrad last summer" nicole replies. "I thought you said deb balls are for sheep" belly said to me. "Your such a brat" I snarled back while she looked at me in disgust. I started getting furious while nicole looked at me with her eyebrows pointed down. Jeremy grabs belly to go with her. I make out with nicole a bit longer. Once I go to look back at belly she's with another boy. I buy another drink and sit back down. This guy decides to grab my drink which leads me furious, from the anger that started to boil up when I looked at belly with the boy. I punch the guy who took my beer, me and him start fighting. Belly notices and runs up to pull him off me. He nudge's her with the back of his arm and she falls to the ground. I look in shock as me and him continue fighting. I start to get worried but then I see the boy she was with helping her up. Suddenly the cops come and we all run to our cars. Jere helps me get in since I am very drunk. Belly and the guy she's with are next to the car chatting. I think I heard his name is "Cam Cameron". I start getting a bit jealous as they kiss. But I can't be, I have Nicole and I love her, or so I think.
