Sands of Time ~A Gaara (Naruto) One-shot~

Adrienna*

I was being dragged back to my uncle’s base from my most recent escape attempt this would make try that’s right try 569 and failure 569 the longest I’ve been able to stay away from my uncle is about a month.

“You know Lord Orochimaru is going to find you every time so why try”

“Gives me something to do and I can walk on my own Kabuto” as I was being carried over his shoulder

“Nope I’m not that stupid I learned my lesson last time”

“Nope you’re still stupid”

“How I…” he then threw me to the ground and stabbed ‘me’ and ‘I’ disappeared into a log. “You stupid wench where are you” he said turning around looking for me. I laughed in my head and took off towards the sand village. I arrived there in about 2 hrs with my super speed thanks to my demons. I was walking around when a couple ninja stopped me

“State your business”

“Gaara is a friend of mine and he should be expecting me”

“Come on and we’ll see if the Kazekage’s really knows you” they led me to Gaara and thoughts were running through my head ~Whoa Gaara’s been busy since I was taken~

~Do you think he will recognize you~ Yin and yang said in my head

~I hope so~ I thought back and we arrived at the building where we ran into Kankuro

“Adrienna what are you doing here”

“Gaara is expecting me”

“she’s alright guys”

“yes Kankuro” they left and then Kankuro was striking a conversation with me

“so how you’ve been Gaara’s never been the same since he found out who your family was”

“HEY I hate my uncle in fact I’m on my latest escape attempt so I don’t know how long I’m staying”

“at least you’re here” he said as he knocked on the door and I heard a voice I hadn’t heard in a long time

“come in” and Kankuro let me in “yes Kankuro”

“look at who I found” he then turned and I saw how much the boy I had loved had changed.

“Hello Adrienna” he said

“Hello Gaara” I said and then Kankuro left and Gaara using the techniques he used in the past had his sand wrap itself around and pull me into his arms. It was like we were the final missing pieces to a puzzle he and I just fit that well together. We were talking when we got into it.

Gaara*

I was lying beside Adrienna unable to sleep thanks to Shikaku. She looked so peaceful in her sleep I brushed the hair out of her face and kissed her forehead and walked into my office and I was doing some last minute paperwork when I looked out the window and saw a bird that was not native to this area and I immediately got ready not wanting to bother Adrienna with this and got ready to fight. I got to the roof and the intruder landed before me it was one of the akatsuki.

Kankuro*

The akatsuki had invaded the village and I was running to Gaara’s room and when I barged in there I was hit with a book and hard at that “Kankuro what are you yelling about” Adrienna said

“Where’s Gaara”

“I don’t know I woke up and he was gone why”

“the Akatsuki is here”

“what!!” she said and got up getting dressed and I got out as she threw another book at me.

Adrienna*

I was rushing to get dressed slipping on my purple mini-skirt and a black off the shoulder long sleeved top with getting my weapons I ran out with Kankuro and once I got there Gaara was in his sand tomb ~Yang you ready~

~*yawns* yea~

~only half I just need the wings~

~right~ I began floating in the air as my black wings appeared and I started flying towards Deidara and Gaara. My double bladed scythe now visible and I was charging towards Deidara

“Take this” I shouted and threw a couple slashes towards him

“hello princess” I heard from behind me I turned and saw a clay bird and it soon exploded and in came the darkness.

Gaara*

I was inside my sand ball when I heard Adrienna shout and then a muffled speech and nothing for a few seconds but the a sound that made me feel scared for the first time of my life it was the sound of an explosion and Adrienna was no longer heard and my sand shot out catching her and it took her to Kankuro and then something penetrated my shield somehow and I saw nothing but black.

Adrienna*

I woke up to see white and I heard some people talking

“What do we tell her?”

“the truth and try to keep her here” I heard the same loud laugh of my best friend I then opened my eyes to see a bunch of people above me including Temari, Sakura, Naruto, Kakashi I sat up ignoring the pain going through my body looking for Gaara.

“Where is he, Where’s Gaara” everyone’s face saddened and a look from Naruto explained what I had feared. Gaara had been taken by the Akatsuki. I got up and slipped on my spare set of clothes which was a pair of black skinny jeans and a white tank top and I put a black half jacket over it and pulled my necklace which was my double bladed Scythe. “Let’s go” I went to leave but Naruto grabbed my arm lightly I turned and looked into his pleading eyes “Naruto I’ going whether you like it or not” I said getting out of his grip and they followed me and Granny Chiyo following *don’t worry Gaara hold on just a little longer* I thought to myself. We went non-stop to the base Sakura and Chiyo faced Sasori and Naruto and I went forward being stopped by Zetsu we fought and then heard an explosion. A few hours went by and we had succeeded in the battle but were unsuccessful in the rescue because Gaara was now lying infront of us Dead. Tears were now falling from my eyes and I was beside his body and Chiyo was healing him and was getting out of breath and the chakra was decreasing I put my hands over hers and concentrated on my demon chakra to go into Gaara. He woke up now free from his demon I smiled at him and he smiled at me.

9 months later

“Come on Push I can see the head come on Adrienna” I pushed and I was going to kill Gaara after I was done. The one night we did it 2 months later I found out I was pregnant with Twins. I pushed and out came the first one. Which was a boy with my hair and his father’s eyes. About 10 minutes later the second one came out this one a girl and she had my eyes and her father’s hair. “What do you want to name them?”

“The boy Subaku no Jinta, and the girl Subaku no Saraha” they were crying and I was holding Jinta and Gaara was holding Saraha. They calmed down and two lights came out of my body “well you two may choose who you go to” and Yang went into Jinta and Yin went into Saraha. Darkrai my secret demon staying inside me.
