I woke up with a tired groan, sitting up I rub my sore hips as my back gives a sounding crack

"must have slept on them wrong"

I mutter to myself while reluctantly pulling myself up from under the plush covers

'Thank God it's my day off'

I throw on my classic cap and hoodie combo and quickly exit my apartment, not wanting to run into my landlord. My roommate has a knack for not paying rent and my landlord tries to make it out to be my problem.

'Not like he's entirely wrong seeing as most of the time I end up paying her side of the rent too'

 I think to myself.

I slowly walk to the park keeping my head down, not wanting to make eye contact with any strangers.

I make my way on a weathered path to my usual spot.

Sitting down on the bench I let out a tired sigh as I lay my head on the table.

'This is nice'

A couple of minutes pass with me just listening to the nature around me,only to be interrupted by someone sitting next to me. For a split second I thought I was imagining it as I heard no one walk up but low, and behold, as I raised my head was a complete and total stranger to my side

 'what the hell'

I jerk back nearly falling over

  "Whoah jumpy one aren't ya"

his deep voice resounded, filling the once quiet space There was a pause as I stared dumbfounded at him.

He then proceeded to ask me a series of questions which sounded off every goddamned alarm in my head.

Things like "Are you alone out here" and "Are you waiting for someone?"

A shiver tingled down my spine as he continued "L-look, I know this is sudden. Very sudden. But if you're free tonight, can I have the pleasure of taking you out to dinner?"

"What? Why?" I finally speak back "why such an interest in me?"

My brain is nearly about to explode with anxiety "Well, I'm your boyfriend....I'sn't that why you're here?"

'Yep, he's absolutely crazy' I note to myself as I somewhat harshly reject him.

He makes a face I can't quite describe, but I brush the thought off and hastily walk away, looking behind me every few steps just to be sure.

To the people around me I must look like a paranoid druggie or something.

Thought about stopping at a shop nearby but changed my mind, wanting nothing more but to take a nice shower and lay in my bed.

I arrive home to the sounds of my roommate and her "study partner" making quiet the ruckus in her room. I give out a frustrated groan as I make my way to the bathroom, hoping the sound of the shower will drown out their "study session".

The hot water hit my back automatically soothing my sore hips. I quickly wash and dress myself, and then made my way to my room noting that it was now quiet.

"Thank God" I mutter as I face plant into my messy bed, shoving some unfolded laundry to the side.

I set an alarm for work early tomorrow and shut my eyes.

" Oh Y/N..."

A whisper sounded out into the room, but I was already too deep in sleep to notice.
