I looked at my hair and smiled, I looked beautiful. Travis told me that I had my mother's eyes when the sun rays attacked them. He brushed passed me in a black tuxedo and a red tie with pink hearts.
"Do I look good?" Travis asked fixing his brown hair.
I bit my lips nervously and responded, "Ooh, who you looking so fancy-hot for? Oh, and by the way yes."
Travis scratched his head and his eyes darted towards mine, "It's Valentine's day, don't you remember silly. Plus I uh...have a date with Rosalina."
I hugged him, "Well, have fun on your date! I'll be looking for a friend out tonight. Catch you later!" I opened the brown wooden carved door for Travis and let him out while I stayed in the house all warm and cozy. I decided that if I was going to look for Scarlett tonight, it'd take time and I would need some way to pass time. So, instead of sitting in the house doing nothing like a bum, I started creating Valentine's cards for my friends and that's it...no family or anything. Tears was about to flood from my eyes but I held restraint against them.
First card said, "Dear Carter, I loved you in the second grade, but you didn't feel what I felt for you. You went out with this girl named Emily, and left me to suffer in jealousy. Happy Valentine's Day...friend! Love always, Kristen." That's basically what I did for each and every card I wrote to my friends. Each card held something I've been meaning to tell them and never said with the occasion of a Happy Valentine's Day greeting. Am I a bad friend for doing this? I don't know...it's just everything that happened over the years, I just feel like escaping from this crude and morbid world.
I began to color in my cards like a kindergarten school girl and sealed the envelope with flat chocolate and money. Nothing says the phrase 'I love you' like hate messages, money, and chocolate! I put on my black Michael Kors jacket, weared my black boots and denim blue jeans. I stepped outside to the open world and went to find Scarlett. My hands fell on the steering wheel of the dark red car. I gripped the leather feel of the steering wheel and turned the key in the car key slot. My foot revved the car to life and away I went to find Scarlett.
An hour passed and several minutes passed by until I reached Scarlett's burgandy framed house filled with dark green walls and first-class furniture. I knocked on the window because that's my usual way of hello when I spotted something in Scar's living room. Scarlett and someone in a green shirt and black hair was having...sex. I looked at the man and he had brown eyes. I started to back up once I noticed and recognized who it was.
...Carter..., I thought. I suddenly became aware that I was standing on top of the wooden unstable basement cellar and it was shaking...
Like an idiot, I was still mesmerized by what was happening... Scarlett, one of my best friends, was having sex with one of my crushes...and still presently crush...and she never told me. By the time I was about to get off the unstable basement cellar, I fell through.
My world had turn into nothing but black images of...darkness, and I drifted into unconsciousness.
