Shehnaaz spread her arms wide, and breathed in fresh air with a smile plastered on her face. She was standing outside the delhi airport with her luggage, she took the cab and left for the hotel, she will be staying in same hotel as team.
Shehnaaz couldn't wait to meet him, past few days away from him has been really tough for her. Now, She just want to go and hide herself in his protective embrace.
Once she reached the hotel, she stepped out of the cab. And with her luggage she went inside, to the receptionist were she got her room keys.
"Shehnaaz" She was walking toward the lift when someone called her from behind. She stopped in her tracks and turned around.
"Sidharth!" Leaving her luggage with bellboy, she ran and jumped in sid's arms, throwing her arms around his neck, Sidharth hugged her and spun her around. Breaking the hug, he made her stand on her feet.
"I'm angry with you, you were supposed to be here last night but.."
"I know, I know, Rey. I had to submit a file to Trustee sir so couldn't come." Shehnaaz explained it to him, sid nodded, smiling at her before he pulled her in bone crashing hug, again. They were lost in each other but sounds of fake cough brought them back into reality. Shehnaaz broke the hug and looked behind, she found his teammates, staring at them. She blushed and stand little away from him feeling little conscious as all eyes were on them.
"Guys! She is Shehnaaz"
"Your girlfriend!" Before Sidharth could finish his sentence, his one of his team mate did. Sidharth nodded in confirmation, smiling at her softly.
"Hello!" Shehnaaz mumbled, waving at them. They greeted her with wide smile and politely that she couldn't believe they are the players of indian cricket team, they all were so sweet to her. She liked them all instantly knowing Sidharth will be happy between these people.
"Sidharth, I have to go for practice. Tum room mein jaakar rest karo, I'll meet you in evening." Sid said to her, Shehnaaz nodded. She gave him a peck on his cheek before she walked away from there.
"Lets go guys!" The team captain said, they all nodded and walked out of the team hotel to the ground for practice.
After having dinner in hotel restaurant together, they both exit the restaurant. They were walking toward her room when a voice stopped them from behind, they stopped and turning around, they found his parents standing there.
"Sidharth" His mother came and embrace him, with teary eyes.
"Mom-Dad, what are you both doing here?" Sidharth asked them, His mother broke the hug and glance at shehnaaz who was standing there silently, beside him, Sidharth had intertwined his fingers with hers.
"Your mom want you to return back home, And i have no objection with your cricket." Ashok said to his son. Hearing his father a small smile appeared on his face, thinking his family is finally understanding him.
"But you have to marry Shefali Bagga, thats my only condition." Ashok finished his sentence, Bagga was daughter of his business partner and getting her married to Sid will be profitable for him.
Sidharth passed a sarcastic smile to his parents, he felt like an idiot who thought they will accept him without any terms & conditions but his father proved him wrong, he had always thought about his business & status first, other things or people doesn't matter to him.
"Sorry dad, what you are asking is not possible. I'm not going to sacrifice my life for your damn business. For you, your business is important and for me, my Shehnaaz is important. I'm not leaving her." Sidharth told his father, his tone was stern & sharp. He held her hand and was about to walk away from there but..
"Is all because of this girl. Sidharth, is she more important to you than your parents?" His mother's voice stopped him. Sid turned around, facing his parents
"Can i ask the same question to you both? Is you business is more important than your son? I know the answer mom. your business is more important thats why you guys never paid attention to your son. I was brought by the servants, nanny's. Since childhood you guys have never loved me , you just want me to join your damn business and run it successfully. You guys never cared about my happiness but she do, she care for me, love me for who am i, she supports me in my every step, encourage me. She makes me happy. And I love her more than anyone." Sidharth spoke, his voice was low yet stern. He meant every word he had said. Without sparing a glance to them, he held her hand and walked away from there.
Shehnaaz was shocked with all these happenings, she couldn't believe his parents asked him to leave her. Sid pulled her inside her room, closing the door behind him. He hugged her tightly.
"I'm not leaving you. I love you." Sidharth whispered with teary eyes. Shehnaaz smiled lightly through her tears and tighten her grip around him. She knew he will never leave her.
"I love you too, partner." Shehnaaz whispered, Sidharth kissed her head and they stayed in each others arms. She knew he needs her, after whatever happened outside, it has broke him, re-opened all the old wounds.
She pulled him toward the bed and made him lay down, she slide in covers beside him.
"Sleep, Sid. You have match tomorrow." Shehnaaz told him, Sidharth wrapped is arms around her waist and pulled her into him. His grip was tight and possessive, she sighed and snuggle more into him. Sid dropped a sweet peck on her lips before he closed his eyes.
She is Special. She is his Possession.
