Vinod sat there explaining their story. Well he presented the safe for children version. Sivadas was smoking a cigar. Distress was written on his face. It seemed as if he lost everything so suddenly. Arnav was sitting there without much surprise. He was playing with a bowl of ice. It was then that Arsha stormed in and smaked Arnav's head with a huge file.

"Arsha!" Three men called at the same time.

"Bastard! How did such an idiot took birth in my family." She beat him more.

"Arsha stop! Stop!" Arnav screamed. He looked at  Vinod for help.

"Arsha. What's this?" Vinod pulled her away. Arnav smiled triumphantly.

"This good for nothing! He went and broke Praveen's nose. He is in hospital." She pointed fingers at Arnav.

Sivadas looked at Arnav like he was looking at some alien. Vinod too didn't expect this from Arnav. He too had such a plan. But Arsha had strictly forbade him. In addition she monitored him since then. But nobody expected this.

"Then. Some bastard try to harm my sister and I will smile at him?" Arnav moved away from her. He stood  behind  Vinod.  It was good he secured a good connection with his brother in law beforehand.

Sivadas didn't say anything. Vinod was amused. He even appreciated Arnav's efforts. Just he didn't say it aloud. Arsha stood there fuming.

"So? Will you do all idiotic things that come to your mind?" She roared. When will he grow up?

There was pin drop silence.

"Arsha. You should understand his intentions. He is your brother." Vinod thought it was not right for her to bash him for something any brother would do.

"Vinod. Do you think I will take everything lying down? I had things to ruin him forever. That's why I asked everyone to behave." She slumped into the chair.

"What? That audio clip. " Vinod asked confused. It was not enough evidence against their gang. It involved big fishes. Maybe they could choke Praveen with that.

"You did that instead of escaping that place. Good!" Arnav clapped for her. " No wonder danger follows you."

"Who asked your opinion?" She rose again.

"Arsha. Tell things clearly. Do you have any other ideas?" It was Vinod. He knew she wouldn't bluff.

"Yes. The recording can't trap the big fishes. But it could ruin Praveen. That was enough for me. Anyway I didn't personally know the other bastards." Arsha explained.

When all were silent, she continued. "But thanks to my brother's bravery, I had to trade that video with Praveen to not file an FIR against my little brother." She sneered.

"I am ready to go to jail." Arnav declared. It was an assault. What could happen to him?

"Who cares about you? You will drag this company down with you." Arsha smirked. She couldn't believe he gave zero care for his career.

"Then you take care of the company. I don't mind." Arnav was dejected. Why wasn't his sister recognizing him? She was always like that.

"Who wants this company? I will resign soon." She declared.

Men in the room exchanged glances. She looked down. Sivadas sat there shocked.

"Why? What?" Arnav was too confused to even question. Wasn't she fighting with him for shares yesterday?

"I missed something when explaining things. She is joining my company. And it will be hers." Vinod declared proudly and happily. He held Arsha in his arms. That felt good. He could openly hold her, flaunt her and tell everyone she was  his.

"Vinod. I am not." She said hesitantly. She was scared how he would take things.

"What?" This time it was Vinod who was shocked. Did it mean she?

"I am starting my own company." Arsha looked at him in guilt.

Sivadas smiled. His daughter was the best thing he brought into this world. She was not only talented but also courageous and independent. She was far above himself.

Arnav looked from Vinod to Arsha and then Sivadas. He dragged the bowl of ice towards him and dipped his fingers into it. If he intervened in this, what would he do if his father ask him to start one company like his sister. Leave starting one new company, running an established business was melting his brain.

"Why? You don't trust me? Are you still not ready to accept me?" Vinod's eyes were moist. She loved him but she agreed for marriage only because of the company. She valued power and he knew it.

"It's not like that. Advertising is not my arena. I want to do something that interest me." Arsha held his left hand while explaining. She knew how he felt.

"Don't start an electrical company. I can't compete with you." Arnav requested her drying his fingers. Sivadas warned him with looks.

"It's not like that. I have a business plan. I even got some investors. Only certain things need to be sorted and settled." She assured him. Actually she planned this the day Praveen showed her around in vulgar clothes. Even before S.D offered her marriage, she planned to break her engagement on her own.

"Shall I invest?" Sivadas asked hopefully.

"No father. It's not needed." She didn't encourage him. Sivadas was dejected. Arnav yawned and Vinod was unusually silent.

She didn't need him anymore. She was free from her fateful marriage. Her family supported her. Her brother was standing with her. Her father was ready to help her financially to secure her future. She didn't need him. Even if she liked him, she didn't need to marry a middle aged man.

"Okay. Then I can transfer your shares." Sivadas changed his proposal.

"Yes. But now I need to concentrate on my marriage." She said taking Vinod's hand into hers. She could read his face. Her feisty beast was a little moody these days. She knew she needed to assure him.

He looked at her. She was happy. She was little shy. The grip on his hand was firm as if she would never leave it. And he smiled. He was glad he broke his rules. If he didn't, he would have missed her, missed this beautiful beginning of his second life.
