Chapter-7

Naruto woke up with a start and saw the familiar white hospital ceiling and the same window from where he could see Konoha.

"How the hell do I always get the same fucking spot?" Naruto asked mentally. Naruto said only to see Mito close to his face. Naruto yelped before falling down face first. 'Also how does she always sneak up on me like that?' Naruto groaned mentally. "Dunno probably because the author is too lazy." Kurama replied. "Who?" Naruto asked.

"Well that was weird."Naruto said before getting up and sitting on the bed and looking back at Mito. "So what's up?" Naruto asked. " You defeating a TAILED BEAST AND SUMMONING ONE IS WHAT'S UP! The entire village is talking about and saying how you saved everyone. 'Double faced bastards.' Naruto growled internally with Kurama agreeing. "Anyway I came to check up on you and tell you father summoned you if you were up." Mito said to which Naruto frowned. " Yeah yeah but first where's my sword and clothes?" Naruto asked getting out of bed. Mito tossed him a scroll and leaving the room to allow him to get ready.

At Ichiraku's

"So why are we here instead of being at the Hokage office." Mito asked waiting for her ramen. "I'm hungry! What more of a reason do you want?" Naruto asked. "So how did summon the Kyuubi?" Mito asked. "Kurama. That's his name he doesn't like being called Kyuubi. I summoned him because we're friends and he told me the ways to modify the seal enough to allow me and only me to summon him. Although he acts all tough and scary, you come to know he's just an oversized furball." Naruto smiled. "Oh and what's with the sword." Mito pointed. "It's called Tensa Zangetsu. It was gifted to me by someone important to me." "And how did you master Ultra Instinct in just a month?" Mito asked. Naruto smiled and flicked Mito's forehead who grabbed it in pain. "I'll tell you some other time. But now ramen eating contest." Naruto said and began eating his ramen.

15 minutes later

"Ha! I win." Naruto said putting away his 30th bowl. "Let's go now." Mito said. Naruto nodded and touched her shoulder and both disappeared in a murder of crows. They both appeared in Hokage office. Mito felt a bit dizzy not used to a shunshin but stood her ground. "What do you need?" Naruto asked bored not noticing the rest of Konoha 13 to be there. "BAKA SHOW THE HOKAGE SOME RESPECT!" a certain useless pink haired banshee screeched and went to punch him who caught her hand and twisted it. "Sakura I want you to answer my question and I'll let you go how many times have you hit me till today?" Naruto asked. "No answer will let me tell you 28,032,006 times and now let me pay you back."Naruto said reeling back his right hand and infused a bit of Kurama's chakra.

However before it connect with Sakura's face his hand was held by Tsunade who was glaring at him. Naruto released his hand his from her grip followed by Tsunade who took her place beside Jiraiya who was silently watching. Minato sighed and said "You all have been summoned to inform who will make chunin and who isn't. Shikamaru Nara, Naruto Uzumaki and Mito Uzumaki Namikaze. You are promoted to chunin please collect your chunin vest." Ino and Sakura protested and and said Sasuke deserved to be chunin instead of the dead last. Sasuke although kept a neutral face outside he was happy that Naruto had been made chunin same being with Hinata.

"Oi gaki I want you to sign the frog Summoning contract and be my apprentice." Jiraiya said out of the blue breaking the silence. Everyone was silent. "I refuse." Naruto flatly turned down the offer surprising everyone after all it's not everyday you get the offer to be trained under a Sannin. "SAY WHAT?!" everyone yelled. "I said I refuse." Naruto repeated.
"I'm doing just fine on my on." Naruto said.

"It's not everyday you are offered to be trained by a Sannin." Tsunade said sure that he will reconsider. "I've got this far on my own I'll continue doing the same I don't need your help and I've got my work cut out for me by my sensei."Naruto said.
