Chapter 28 - Sleep Overcomes All

• FLASHBACK! •

DYLAN'S P.O.V.

"I'm going to have to send you home," his final answer was. I felt Nathan's grip on my hand tighten as my heart sank. This was unfair.

"Like hell you are!" Nathan shouted furiously, standing up and letting go of my hand.

"Nathan! Sit down and we'll talk about this!" Martin commanded, but Nathan was having none of it.

"There's nothing to discuss! She's staying with me!" He shouted before taking my hand and pulling me out of the room so we were now upstairs in the living room for privacy. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to say but all I did was give Nathan a sympathetic look.

"They can't do this!" He shouted, kicking things around to let out his anger.

"Nathan they can and there's nothing we can do to stop them!" I shouted stressed which made him stop and look at me before coming over and sitting next to me. I had my head in my hands and I could feel his hand drawling circles on my back trying to sooth me.

"So that's just it?" He sighed.

"That's it, I'm going home."

• PRESENT DAY, NIGHT OF THE 14TH •

NATHAN'S P.O.V.

"Goodnight London!" Tom screamed onstage before we ran off. I quickly cleaned myself up and got dressed so I could go back and spend the rest of Valentines Day with Dylan. It was 10:30pm and we were just piling in the car. After all the conversations we went through we were finally home where Maggie and Dylan were at, hopefully safe. We all filed in one at a time to find Maggie watching TV and Dylan fast asleep on the couch.

"She tried to stay up for you, but she couldn't," Maggie explained. I smiled to myself before scooping her up in my arms and carried her up to my bedroom. As we were walking down the hallway, I watched as Dylan's eyes fluttered open and I smiled and so did she.

"Hi Nath," she simply greeted me in which I laughed a little.

"Go back to sleep Dill, it's alright," I told her. She nodded and closed her eyes again as I laid her down in my bed and crawled in next to her before falling asleep myself.

DYLAN'S P.O.V.

"Good morning babe," I heard a husky voice say next to me. I opened my eyes to see Nathan looking at me with a big smile. I looked over at the alarm clock to see it was 6am. I snuggled deeper into the sheets and shielded my eyes.

"Nooo," I groaned and covered my eyes, I heard Nathan chuckle.

"I don't want to leave either," he stated before kissing my shoulder and then getting out of bed. I ended up falling asleep for another hour before I was being woke up again by Nathan kissing me goodbye. I decided awhile later to get up and get dressed before I went to wake Maggie up and we walked downstairs and entered the kitchen before we both stop dead in our tracks.

"Hello sluts," that familiar annoying voice rang through my ears that sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

"Whores," Maggie growled back at Brit and Jess. I didn't bother to stick around any longer since they sat in their lingerie which was disgusting. I ran black upstairs and slipped on some TOMS, a beanie of Nath's, and a Hollister sweatshirt before leaving along with Maggie. I let Maggie drive to the studio since I was still confused and pissed off as to why they were back. Once we arrived at the building we walked up to the recording room and took a seat behind the glass with management as the boys were singing.

"So what are we going to do now?!" Maggie whispered.

"Ask just Jay or Nathan why the twins are back, not Tom," I explained and she nodded. We looked back over at the boys who by then had all known something was up and were giving us questioning looks as they were singing, especially Nathan to me since he knew something was up. Once the song was over the boys snuck into the room where we were in and Nathan sat next to me. I was trying to compose words as he pulled me onto his lap and stared at me as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"What's wrong babe?" He asked. I didn't answer since I really didn't want to.

"Babe you have to answer me, you're shaking which is scaring me. Just tell me?" He asked and I looked to make sure Tom wasn't around before I sighed.

"Tom's sisters are back," I whispered to him which his eyes widened. I could tell he was getting angry by his facial expression and the way his body stiffened and his fists clenched.

"I swear-" Nathan started off but I stopped him.

"You'll swear nothing and calm down. The last thing we need is for you to be in jail for murder," I pointed out and he sighed.

"I'll figure something out," he replied.

Sorry this chapter sucks, I'm thinking maybe next chapter will be better...;)

NOW YOU CAN LEAVE WHILE I RANT!

I legit have to go see this bullying movie on Wednesday, and basically all day we're going to do activities that relate to "non bullying" things, and my friends and I were joking about it'll be a "get to know you" type of thing and we'll be asked what our favorite colors are and our favorite band so I'll be like "THE WANTED!" And all the directioners will then hate me, oh life is good. xD
