Jeremy sets Zuma down on a table while he went to go do something. Zuma just sighs, knowing he was going to possibly be done for. But his luck was finally going to turn around as Rocky and Joshie made it inside the hotel.
Rocky: hmmm, if I were to hide someone in this hotel, I would go in the basement
Joshie: *gulps* t..t..the b..basement?
Rocky: don't worry Joshie. I'll lead the way, you can stay behind me, ok?
Joshie: *breaths in and out* ok
Rocky: that's the spirit! Now, let's go save Zuma
They went to find the hotels basement and find it quickly. Rocky slowly opened the door and both of them started walking downstairs. Joshie heard a lot of noises, but one noise he heard
That made him gasp was the sound of sniffling. It was Zuma.
Joshie: oh no. Zuma, he's upset
Rocky: poor Zuma. Come on, let's get Zuma and then we run for it
Joshie: good plan
Zuma had his head down while he whipped of some tears. But, as soon as Rocky and Joshie were in sight, he immediately perked up and was happy to see them.
Zuma: Rocky! Joshie! I'm glad you guys came to get me out
Rocky: we're really glad to see that you're ok
Joshie opened the cage to let Zuma out, and he ended up hugging the both of them. He never felt happier than ever.
Zuma: your the best bros ever
Rocky: you too buddy
Zuma: I'm really sorry that I yelled at you two. I just *sighs* I just felt upset that, I'm just a useless pup. I get barely called for missions and I feel like I'm just not important anymore. I don't hate you guys.
Rocky: but, Zuma, you are the most important pup out there
Joshie: you also are useful to. Just because you get barely called for missions, doesn't mean you're useless. Everyone needs a water pup and you are the best water pup out there
Zuma smiled from ear to ear. He finally felt like he was important. He knew if he just left the PAW Patrol, they would miss him dearly. Especially, Rocky and Joshie. He was glad to have friends like them. Suddenly, the basement door opened and someone was walking downstairs. The three of them hid away. They were nervous, they didn't want to get caught. So, Rocky led them sneakily to the basement door. They were about to leave, until Jeremy grabbed Rocky and Joshie.
Rocky and Joshie: ZUMA!!!!!?!!!
Zuma: *gasps* GUYS!!!!! LET THEM GO!!!?!?!
Jeremy: why don't you make me? Oh wait, you can't. Your just a...useless...little....Labrador....pup
Zuma: IM NOT USELESS!!!!! IM ZUMA!!!! THE BEST WATER PUP IN THE PAW PATROL!!!!!!!
He bit his leg as Jeremy screamed. Rocky and Joshie were free from Jeremy, they hid behind Zuma as he looked at Jeremy with anger, showing his teeth to him.
Zuma: now, don't ever hurt me and my friends ever again
Jeremy: you will r..regret this
Zuma: I won't. Besides,I'm the best water pup out there and not just a useless pup, I don't need some dumb vacation to escape it all. Even if, it's nice to go on vacation, especially, with your best friends
Rocky and Joshie smiled as he smiled back. Soon, the police and the PAW patrol came to the hotel to get Jeremy and arrest him. Ryder and The Pups were happy to see that Rocky, Joshie, and of course, Zuma were ok.
Ryder: are you ok Zuma?
Zuma: I'm really sorry Ryder. I wanted to stay here forever because I knew that when I get home. I'll have to deal with being useless
Ryder: Zuma? Your not useless pup
Zuma: b..but? I get barely called for missions. That's w..why *tears up*
Skye: awww Zuma, we understand. But, you know you aren't useless. You're the best pup ever
Zuma: *wipes tears away* r...really?
Ryder: yeah your important to the PAW Patrol and everyone needs a water pup. And you are that water pup
Zuma finally hugged Ryder as everyone grouped hugged him. He felt like he had purpose to stay with the PAW Patrol and it wasn't just being a member, it was having the best of friends and that was good enough for him.
Zuma: thanks guys. I love you all
Rocky: we do too buddy
Zuma: say? I got a question for you Joshie? Want a shake dude?
Joshie: *gasps* yes please
They all laughed and went onto the road to go back home. Joshie felt a little sad that the vacation was over.
Zuma: don't you worry Joshie, we can go next year buddy
Joshie: *nods* I'm just glad your our best friend again
Zuma: of course and Joshie? I'm really sorry dude I said I hated you and Rocky. And I don't. Because you're one of my best friends bud. Hope you can forgive me
Joshie: of course I forgive you, your the bestest pup ever
Zuma smiled. He was glad to be back with the PAW Patrol. He knew he probably wouldn't be chosen for the next mission. But, when the next day came. He was chosen. He excitedly went down the slide, with Rocky and Joshie following behind. He got in his hovercraft and went down the road.
Zuma: THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! YEAH DUDE!!!!!!!!!
He was so happy to have a chance to go on a mission again. He waited so long for this moment and now, it was finally here. He never felt so alive. And that's something he was glad to have. But, he was also glad to have his friends. And he's happy for keeping it that way for a very long time.
