At the dinner table, the atmosphere was tense. Hyunjin could feel Seungmin's eyes on him. The older let out a light, yet sheepish chuckle trying to clear the tension. "Have I forgotten to introduce myself? Where are my manners!" He started before scratching his neck. "My name is Hwang Hyunjin. The heir to Hwang Incorporated. I'm delighted to be here with such a prestigious family like the Kims."
Seungmin almost rolled his eyes at the unnecessarily formal greeting. "Aren't you just the sweetest boy?" Seungmin's mother spoke with a warm smile. Hyunjin bowed his head as a thank you to the compliment. "I heard you're in the same year as Seungmin, isn't that right?" Seungmin's father asked, assuming that the raven was the same age as his son. "I'm not sure. I was born in 2000."
Seungmin finally spoke up replying to Hyunjin, "I was too." The latter's attention was on him now, making Seungmin quickly shut up in embarrassment. "That's great to know, I hope we get to be great friends then!" Hyunjin exclaimed with a bright smile. Seunghye then frowned a bit. "Seung doesn't really enjoy the company of friends. However, you can try your best to get close to him!" She said hopefully, wanting her brother to be more open with others.
The boy sighed, "good luck with that." Hyunjin's smile soon faded as Seungmin got up and excused himself to his room. "He never liked family dinners," Seunghye mumbled, clutching the fork in her hand. "I'm sure it will be fine, would you like me to speak with him?" The guest asked, wanting to have a more proper conversation with Seungmin. The rest of the family nodded in approval and Hyunjin took off to find the younger's room.
After looking through all of the rooms in the estate, he finally found Seungmin's desolate room in the end of the hallway. Hyunjin nervously fidgeted with his sleeves before giving a knock on the door. The knock was soon answered as the owner of the room had opened the door and dragged the taller in before closing the door behind them. "I know who you are Hwang. Don't pretend we don't know each other."
Hyunjin's eyes widened, his pupils seemed to dilate. "I don't know what you're talking about.." The boy tried to protest but Seungmin wasn't buying it. "Tell me the truth, Hyunjin. I won't tell anyone- just tell me the truth." The older started stammering as he was caught red-handed. Seungmin had cornered him making him feel pressured and full of fear. As soon as the brunette noticed that he was only making Hyunjin scared, his expression softened and he backed off.
"I'm sorry." He mumbled as he looked off to the side with the look of guilt on his face. Hyunjin began to calm down with the realization that Seungmin genuinely seemed like he felt bad for him. "It's okay, but you got me."
Hyunjin then took off his wig to reveal his long blonde hair. As Seungmin thought, the one standing right in front of him was the same person that he went to school with, the same person who he asked to lower the volume on his headphones, and the same person who was bullied for being 'gay.' "I know what you're thinking, why am I dating your sister in the first place if I'm gay?" Hyunjin laughed softly before Seungmin shook his head clear of his thoughts. "You're actually gay?"
