Clad in an oak green uniform was Dandellia Sta. Freya as she plans to leave the District of Asahi in the city of Quezon to peek as to what is happening now in the District of Viendra.
On her way, she saw a familiar face that halted her footsteps. Under a tree is an old friend of hers, seemingly waiting for someone since he or she kept on looking at his watch, it was not as if she was in a hurry to visit Viendra anyway so Dandellia decided to approach this person.
She gave him a little wave, before placing her fist on her waist when she was now standing about three meters away from the individual. "You. You never told me, you'll visit." Grinned the woman, her crimson-hues sheening with excitement.
Jason grins, his blue-green eyes gleaming. "I was nearby, and I thought maybe I'd be here." He tells her, tapping his watch a little. "What about you?" He asks, arched eyebrows raising as he looks at Dandellia, who wore the oak green uniform divinely and neatly.
She paused for a few seconds, contemplating whether she would talk about her plans of leaving the Inner Borders to visit the District of Viendra which she haven't visited for two years now. "Nothing, just...checking the great works of ..." then the woman anxiously looked around only to luckily spot an Art Gallery behind Jason. "...art? Yeah.. I was thinking of checking out the Art Gallery over there."
"Art?" Jason hums. He hasn't seen her in a long time and he kind of wondered when she had gained interest in arts. "I didn't know you're in such fascination in that field...y'know Aileen is a fan of arts too." He shares, glancing over his shoulder at the art gallery behind him. He wasn't really a fan of the arts as much as his sister did, but he appreciated them.
"How are you?" He asks, maybe he should've asked that as soon as she stepped up to talk to him.
"I'm great." She beamed, 'not really', countered half of her brain yet her smile did not fade. "I'm a teacher at Rotaria University." She informed, raising a finger like a mother scolding her child.
Come to think of it, the man was sure looking like one of those Sherlocks from the movies, a brown coat with a black suit underneath, a fashionable hat and heeled shoes. "I see, your taste of fashion never changed. Still unique."
"Ah, well. I wouldn't say fashionable at the very most. Considering how this coat belonged to my mother." He chuckles, and continued. "A teacher? In what field do you teach? I've got a ...young friend who wants to enroll, but I've got to convince him that you teachers won't eat him alive."
"Combat classes and Physical Education. Since all students inside Rotaria are either sons and daughters of a military personnel or just wealthy kids who are learning self-defense. I help them find their true potential and sometimes even the secrets of their lineages." She explained by enumerating what she do using her fingers. "And whoever this kid you're talking about, I could only help him or her if he or she is in my class. A2." The Professor added with a chuckle.
"He's too adventurous. I'm not sure if school is going to calm him down." He muses. Jason might have to consult the doctor later when he gets home, having a ADHD in the house might pose a slight difficulty. Though, he's not surprised to know that she teaches Combat, after all she picks one heck of a fight, not even he can beat her in a sparring match.
"Do you have somewhere to be after this?" He asks, hoping maybe she'd want to grab a drink with him. It's been far too long since they've seen each other, it would be nice to catch up in a more comfortable place than this shade under a tree.
Then the woman glanced to the western direction, thought about his question before glancing back at her friend with a smile. "No...no. I have free time, it's the weekends after all." Dandellia mused placing both hands on her waist, 'Woman? You have test papers to check back in your apartment!'
"Are you sure you don't have any teacher things to do? I might be taking up much of your time, just by standing here." He smirks, though it doesn't seem the least visible through his trimmed beard.
"I can set such things aside for an old friend." Laughed the spontaneous risk-taker of the Sta. Freya household as she steps forward to give Jason a light tap on his shoulder, even dusting it even noticing that a particular autumn leaf was on top of it. "You know me. I'm as adventurous as I was back then, my job won't hold me back from having fun with you." Grinned the Head of the Sta. Freya Household as she begins to push Jason to imply that he should start leading the way. "Where are we going then?"
"I was thinking of going to a café, you know, old fashioned sort of venue. But if you prefer somewhere else, it's your decision." Any place would do for him, as long as it poses comfortable for his taste. He is a rather picky man but for his old friend, he can very well consider.
He had not known any coffee shops around here, despite him living here in almost a decade and more, he just couldn't quite grasp the map of the city no matter how hard he tries to take an understanding to it. Geography was not exactly his forte, unlike Aileen who loves to travel every now and then. "I usually take any suggestion into account, since I've not been here for awhile."
"Hmm, there are no fastfood chains or cafés here in the western area of Asahi since these are mostly for military stuff, huntings and sometimes spars. There are lots of café in the center plaza of Asahi District." Dandellia states in a matter-of-fact tone. "We'll figure it out."
As they stand outside the streets, a long line outside a particular café caught their attention . Jason thought that if the shop's food and beverages suits his pallet, he might come often as he should.
"Why don't we judge through it's atmosphere? I suppose that much you can do? Reading the atmosphere?" Challenged Dandellia Sta. Freya.
"Ah I see..." He nods, gazing at the throngs of people again, now with turned interest. Reading the atmosphere wasn't also much of what he knows much, but if he feels it is comfortable then he might as well choose. He looks at her and smiles, tipping his hat playfully, "Shall we?"
His last words made the woman chuckle for the way he gentlemanly tip his hat. It was something she don't see everyday - acting all polite huh?
Jason scanned the two-story building, "We can..." He trails off as he hopes that the atmosphere won't be too comfortable. Jason then decides maybe it's not bad to try this one out, it is a rather fancy café, he can already think of what kind of menus that are being served at Stardust. He grins, "Let's go."
The theme of the Café was Autumn, thus every nuke and canny of the establishment wore yellow, green and amber sheens including flowers of the same color. Dandellia pushed open the door with the little wind chimes tinkling away.
"Hmm.." He hums in sheer approval, he likes the cozy and cheerful feeling of the café. "Where shall we sit?" He asks her, eyeing spots for them to sit on. He most preferred by the window, but the decision is all on hers. Jason is just really indecisive.
Dandellia noticed him shortly glanced to the direction of the table just right beside a window, thus gesturing the man to follow her to his preferred spot in the cafe. Taking off her green trench coat and hanging it over her seat, she tapped the table to get his attention. "I'll order for us, just check the menu then I'll go ahead and line u-."
"What can I get you?" a cheerful question interrupted Dandellia from taking another step from where she stands, the individual was none other than cafe owner Dew Eleanore.
'How did she get here so quickly?' thought Dandellia, as she pans to check Jason who did not really mind and simply returned a smile to the waitress.
