Not just a moment

I tagged along with Mr.Entrepreneurs office as my work in this city is done and I'm not that type of a guy who works for the wellbeing of the company, "what you pay is what you get" kinda guy.

There was a lot of hastiness and everyone's either running or hitting the damn keyboard; it's not like my mind doesn't have enough of this so I was stepping out for smoke and before I took a step I heard a huge noise as if someone's getting beat up like hell. I rushed back in and there he was slapped at his staff yelling at the team.

We were in the conference room, I had to stop him and take him over. "This is not who you are! Remembering your past is one part but carrying it everywhere and treating people like pests is not even ethically right on your part". I yelled and continued “Most of the time we regret finding the wrong one’s during the right times but we never think about that right one we meet during the wrong time and as an outcome, we end up being the wrong person.”

"It's not the past. I'm over it, at least I believe that I do!" He pulled a chair. His eyes were red, his face looked so tiring and I couldn't help myself but to ask "Exactly how many days it's been since you slept?"
"Feels like forever but only been years I guess." He continued.
"I neither feel hunger nor I'll be able to sleep. I feel more like a machine these days. Anyway that's not important now." He said.

"How many years do you need to get over her? Everyone has been through a phase in life and you're not the only one. Moments are precious with special people but at some point we need to accept and move on." I had enough of seeing him lost for many years and I just wanted my old friend back. A guy who was sportive, charming and committed as he always was.

"I know I'm not the only one and I am also well aware that she is not the only one for me but I was the only one for her. My life with her was not just moments or a phase, it was everything." He stood up towards the door. "Better we drop this conversation here."
