" Get her the hell out of here , you can get her dressed outside I don't want to see her face until she has the ring on her damn finger that means we will never have to put up with her shit in this house again", My father screamed loudly into my face

"Good luck to whomever gets stuck with this , selfish, dumb naïve child who will never be worth her title , and even more than him I feel bad for this entire planet for the next inadequate 50 years they'll go through with her as their Queen , that is if you even get accepted in the ceremony , it would be just like you to start a planet war and get us all killed wouldn't it" , my father screamed and screamed , ranting .

The thin green vein in his forehead popping out as he raged on , saying stuff I'd heard my entire life but never thought to hear from him , at least now I knew what they all thought of me.

My father had only ever cursed five times his whole life.

He had always been the kinder parent growing up , I wasn't his favorite or anything that spot was reserved for his youngest Whimmie , but he had always cheered me up after my mother was mean to me , he was always there for me.

After the accident that caused my mothers death he had gone into a deep depression , barley coming out of his room , we might see him once a month at the most and it took Ebony threatening to take away possessions of my mothers just to get him to use the shower.

Clearly in all that time wallowing in self pity he had decided my mother was right and decided to hate me just as much as she had when she was still breathing , she probably still hated me just as much even in death , oh if ghosts could talk.

"Enough Father i will do her hair and get her dressed outside near the garden now get out of this room or you will not be the only one to strike someone today" , Ebony said standing to her full height which was two inches taller than dad.

I really hadn't meant to break the necklace i felt so bad , more for Ebony than my father after that slap , but still i felt so guilty none the less , its was my mothers pre wedding gift from my dad , I'd screwed things up so bad again.

He starred at her with big anger filled hazel eyes as he backed off easing out of my childhood room without giving me another glance. He would not risk going against Ebony , she was the spiting image of our mother and the only person who could put anyone in this family in their place and quick too , i honestly think her presence in the room right now was the only thing stopping him for trying for round two.

She then knelt to the floor and began slowly picking up all of the pieces of the necklace and put them in the pocket of her purple night gown , then stood up to look at me , her hazel eyes full of despair and pitying ,while she mourned the lose of the necklace , and the dad we knew before the accident that had changed him permanently.

I wiped the tears off my round face and began packing all of Ebony's make up and hair tools into her light blue square make up bag as she sighed grabbing a huge , plastic covering that housed a wedding dress i had yet to be able to take a look at. It was probably awfully modest , some long plain white dress picked by the council ,but i couldn't wait to put it on and get the hell out of here.

To think yesterday I'd actually cared about what my wedding dress might look like , but now i realized my father was right this wedding wouldn't be for love or romantic reasons it would finally set me free to explore the world and get away from the constant judgement and most of all it would free my family from the pain of ever having known me,

"Lets go Ebony we've got everything we need , just message Whimmie and tell her to bring out my shoes and the veil as well as the flowers , we have a little over an hour to complete everything on time so lets hurry" i said in a monotone voice grabbing the rest of our belongings , my arms full to the brim with various girly items as Ebony starred at me in pity clutching the dress bag tightly.
